The individual bits (mini-tripod, hand holder, USB cable, 5v charger, wind block and case) are each very good

BUT the tripod didn't even work right out of box.

The little tripod is very nice;

The things that you get in this kit make the Zoom H1 even better: tripod, hard case with hand strap, windscreen, handle, plus power adapter and USB cable.

I love the little tripod, mic cover and carry case.

The reason for only 4 stars is: The tripod was hard to loosen for me, and the legs don't move out easily

The tripod fell apart the minute I got it out of the box, the thread for the screw was made of plastic and it was stripped.

The cheap tripod really takes away from the total quality.

The tripod, case, and wind sock are worth the price of admission.

My typical setup is having the windscreen on and mounted either with the portable tripod or on the mic clip adaptor and mounted on a mic stand.

The mini tripod is flimsy.

The tripod is actually steady enough to hold the recorder tightly
