so I purchased the purple 1 tb hard drive through Amazon

This dvr is simple to use and work instantly with a hard drive that I bought separately and stuck inside with the 2 easy connections (which are pre installed in this unit)

+ $15 for a suite you can wear while wading through insulation + $25 for whatever drill bits and fasteners you dont have + $40 for fishing tape + $50 for a hard drive + $25 for electric outlets + $30 for a new fan because the one that comes with it is louder than you would believe + $40 for a wireless ethernet of some sort + $20 for various electronics and cables + 10-20 hours of your time

So far the package looks good, though i wonder about the memory since many say you should put a hard drive, will continue to update this.

Easy to install and works great......the only issue was that I had to purchase a hard drive in order to record video.......product didn't make it clear that a hard drive would need to be purchased.....

2tb hard drive, reboot loop after 30 mins, new 500gb hard drive, reboot loop after 1hr

Tested all 8 cameras, plugged in a 1TB hard drive to record...and then all of a sudden the DVR box would just reboot and would continue to reboot every 2 mins

This system was easy to install and came with everything except the hard drive

For $130 I got 8 cameras and a Dvr without a hard drive
