    • The description also does not state that the dvr does not have an internal hard drive
    • It works as intended, cant beat 8 cameras for this price point, I was also able to get it to work with a spare 3TB hard drive and it appears to recognize all 3 terabytes as useable space!
    • Easy to add a traditional SATA hard drive to
    • Good cameras and good DVR after installing my hard drive but not very happy with tyhe "Free" operating software
    • I even replaced the hard drive with a different one
    • Once my 2TB hard drive filled up, it started showing "Disk Lost" messages.
    • Two caveats: 1) You need to begin the setup process with a monitor and a mouse hooked directly up to the DVR so the initial setup/hard drive formatting - you can't do it through your WiFi
    • Need a hard drive for recording and playback
    • One other problem was connecting the new 3 terabyte hard drive I bought to save videos.
    • Then I opened the DVR to insert the hard drive and to my surprise there was a broken component

    • First of all the dvr doesn’t record unless you buy a second part and install it internally into your hard drive
    • Does not have a remote does not hook to Internet properly the screen as a perfect picture that you can not record it is no reason to buy not less you have the internal hard drive and it does not come with a hard drive brinks security system does and Cobra security
    • Also ordered a WD 2tb hard drive and it would not read it

    • I will increase my review rating if it turns out my hard drive truly went bad after only 3 months of use in the DVR.
