Now pocket is stretched out to where I'm uncomfortable and afraid I will lose a card.

I definitely wouldn't count on it protecting my phone from serious damage, but it's the perfect card case!

If you dont push the ribbon all the way in, you will risk losing your card when putting your phone in the pocket
