It looks as though it would protect my phone fairly well if I were to drop it on accident

Lip doesn't go past screen, but it's a pretty and functional case that hopefully will protect my phone if I drop it.

You need a case with a thicker "bumper" in order to protect your phone, and this is not it

It protects your phone but doesn't make it bulky even with my insurance cards, drivers license and debit card tucked away in the pocket
