I use it to track my steps and it does an excellent job of that.

Go into the Garmin software app on your smart phone, laptop, or desktop.

My phone is incompatible with Vivofit 3.My conclusion: Garmin Support conclusion doesn't make any sense since the pairing and first 2-3 syncs after changing device settings were successful

Very easy to use, to sync with my smart phone through the Garmin app, and also to Strava.

Returned it, because it requires the use of a smart phone to be fully functional.

Another purchase before I can use this as I do not use a smart phone.

I loved the Vivofit 2 so much that I bought Vivofit 3 for my wife

I lost my Vivofit 2 on a trip, and replaced it with the Vivofit 3.

I bought my Vivofit 3 on 8/17/17 and I have really loved it.

Having lost my original vivofit I decided to up-grade to the vivofit 3

I lost my Vivofit, the original one, so I replaced it with the Vivofit 3, thinking it would at least be as good or be better.

Bottom line I love this product and would definitely recommend it!

I swam 2 laps in a junior Olympic sized pool and this watch said I burned 6 calories

I can take the watch off at night and wake up having burned between 500-600 calories.

This is one of the few tracker/watch which really works as an everyday watch.

Needed a new Garmin because the one I had for three years finally died

Garmin sent one new battery at no cost, but it died again under three months later

I love me Garmin 3. however, I still can't get to do my heart rate.

Best thing is I don't even feel it on my wrist and don't have to charge it.

I like the bigger screen on the Vivofit 2 better but this one is fine.

My only issue was the smaller screen because of that I went back to vivofit 2

The locking mechanism on the band can be a pain to unlock/re-lock (it doesn't turn freely, which can be good if you want it to stay locked, but sometimes, even when locked, it pops out of the hole and comes off the wrist anyway).

I am not positive the calories burned is accurate but if they are then it's awesome that I can burn a couple thousand calories by walking 10k steps at work every day.

My first one popped off (I found it later) and sometimes it bothers my wrist

When we did, we found that my wrist had a two-inch long angry red sore beneath the band because my skin was not dry under the band

You should consider a different tracker - Garmin app seems buggy.4 months after buying this it fell off

Mine lasted 4 months and just died on me this past Sunday.
