Just a cool and unexpected "feature".The lid is a hair fiddlesome, probably designed that was for some safety reason, but you have to really want to open it, then it pops open and stays open nicely.

I'm sure this will do its job in warming water to a fantastic boil, I appreciate the cool handle features, but I was really hoping that the inside of the "steel" cap was also steel, but it's black plastic

It's a great price with even better features and it also looks sleek and stylish

The beeps it makes are loud and unnecessary, the keep warm feature is just that warm not the setting that you put it at.
