I know OEMs aren't the absolute best, but they are tuned for the car and the sound system and they usually sound optimal with an OEM HU

You can always count on kicker for great sound at a fair price and they are extremely well made

With out a sub there is too much treble and mids to get a good sound but while paired with at 10in kicker sub much better overall

Absolutely no bass and the highs are so harsh it sounds like you're listening to a ceiling mount speaker in a doctors office.
