    • I have observed that with even a minute of cranking, the flashlight works for hours while as soon as I start radio, it will deplete the battery super fast
    • Worked for a while, charging battery not replaceable
    • While I understand this from an electrical perspective (it's generally bad to drain rechargeable batteries past a certain point), the design should have been such that it completely shut down at a certain voltage and didn't drain the battery down to zero
    • We especially like these when we walk at night or in case of an emergency when we travel - and we don't have to worry about whether the batteries are fresh.
    • Though this really drains the small battery so use sparingly
    • Battery died the next day
    • The rechargeable battery is replaceable..just remove the small screw and remove cover
    • I have observed that with even a minute of cranking, the flashlight works for hours while as soon as I start radio, it will deplete the battery super fast
    • It would also come in very handy when camping, you will never have to worry about dead batteries
    • I'm always prepared and this #EmergencyRadio was the perfect addition to my arsenal! It includes an AM/FM/NOAA weather radio, LED illuminator and a portable battery charger

    • I can forgive the small solar panel, but I'm slightly worried that the battery may *DIE* die (like, for good) sometime before I need this in an emergency
    • Battery dies so fast and does not get good reception
    • I charged the battery and it never worked again.
    • The USB charge is slow and drains the battery quickly, but in an emergency that feature is a life saver.
    • Great battery life, good radio reception
    • Works as I expected as a charger for my USB devices, nothing 'lickity-split' about the charge, but between the battery and a appropriate bit of cranking, a decent charge on my phone & a tablet.
    • Everything works as it should, but it really could use a battery meter to show how much of a charge it has left.
    • Purchased a number of these for the hikers and fishermen in the family as well as to be prepared for the winter months.
    • I have not used it much yet, but a bit of field testing out of the box, and it works exactly as they say it will.
    • You have to rotate the radio to find the better reception and the sound tends to be somewhat static-y
