The final polish with compound on the cutting pad will let you know if you missed spots and you'll have to go back with the 3000 grit pad
-
I did hit the bumper a couple of times and made a rough spot
-
Now that it is done, I can see where I missed a few spots, probably about 5% of the total area.
-
I did miss a few spots, but I was losing sunlight and had to finish up
-
Read instructions, triple tape around fender as it will sand through, take your time, don’t be afraid to re-hand sand some imperfect spots and go though each step again for touch up.
-
I went over them twice just to make sure I didn't miss any spots.
-
good light and non dusty area ...even a good led flashlight to check for missed spots
-
Seemed easy, you just sand away the dull spots
-
There is only a few small spots that I was not able to clear up, but totally worth the money.
-
Don't be afraid to do several more passes with the 400/600 grit pads, because trying to smooth out spots later (especially when you move onto the buffering step) will be very time/resource consuming.2
-
I half heartily threw on tape and managed to scratch the one spot without tape.
-
Next time I will remove lights becase even though I masked up the edges, I managed to burn a very little spot of paint on the fender
-
Now I mean mine were bad, totally yellow and a lot of rough spots on them
-
If you take your time, your headlights will be a s good as new.
-
Then I got out my clean, dry, blue shop towel and started to rub off all of the excess compound and holy cr*p
-
n’t go wrong.
-
The rubbing compound seems like T-Cut so could use that with the product in the future
-
Does what it says,a t a good price
-
didn,t work well at all
-
n’t think they’d clear up
-
Lenses were clouded by original factory coating which was chipping off and clear in some spots, sanded down entire lens with provided pads, I frequently beat dust out of sanding pads and wiped lense surfaces down with clean t-shirt rags because build-up of dust in grit happens quickly and will mar the work.
-
n’t regret it.
-
n’t work I would go for something that has buffing compound and buff
-
n’t b disappointed
-
n’t believe how well this product worked
