If the product does a poor job preventing the return of the yellow remains to be seen, but for a more affordable quick clean when compared to a 'professional' doing the work for around $150, then I think this is a really great option

3M's quick headlight renewal did an excellent job on the weathering headlights on my 2001 Hyundai Elantra

I was skeptical at first, but I have to say that a really good job, I just wish they would give you one more of those sanding pads, but other than that it was great highly recommend!
