I first ordered the AC Infinity 1238 cooling fan but had a mounting space problem

I thought the fan would be too loud and interfere with the sound system, but it doesn't at all

If I decide to try again I will get a corded (no adapter) small boxer fan and lie it horizontally over the heat vents

Only concern is that the fan is a bit noisy during quiet movie watching, but not annoying enough-just noticeable

It detects the temperature level and switches on convection cooling (fan extraction) as needed.

Fan was very easy to set up

It is not the quietest fan I've ever heard, (hence the 1 star drop), but it really blends in nicely.

This is a nice quiet fan protecting a $1000 Denon Audio Receiver

Really impressed with this unit ,slim, quiet, and the Smart setting adjusts fan speed automatically

I took delivery of an AIRCOM S9 cooling fan unit this week.

fans are quiet.looks good too.

It may be expensive relative to other fan systems, but once you account for it's computer thermostat controls, and how quiet the fans themselves are, it is worth the price.

The fans are very quiet in all settings but are essentially silent on the third setting.

If I put the fans at their top speed the noise reduced considerably, but the fans were too noisy at top speed so that wasn't an option

I put the S9 on top at now the amp is perfectly cool with no audible fan noise.

In fact the fans are so quiet that I had to put a piece of tissue paper on top of the fans to see if they were kicking on and off and then watch the paper to move to see if the fans were running

In my situation the front panel of the cooling fan matches the the front of my amplifier perfectly

This component fan solved that problem and has additional features that I'm thrilled with, such as the "Smart Mode" function which shuts the fans off once the temperature drops to normal

This product is well made, fans are silent when on and just looks like it belongs with the AVR.I would definitely recommend this cooler to anyones experiencing hot rooms or the AVR getting to hot

Not possible to accurately review its performance!Nevertheless, the fan is quiet, it was easily installed and the owner's manual is clear and easy to understand regarding the programming of the different fan modes

so it's not running as fast as it needs to when the cabinets not hot.
