    AC Infinity AIRCOM T9, Quiet Cooling Fan System 17" Top-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

    • I have it set to run in Smart mode at the default 85
    • Smart mode allows you to cool in 2 or 4 degree increments and adjusts the fan speed accordingly
    • I am testing out the modes Smart and
    • I like the options for the ON, AUTO and SMART mode which helps with the trigger temperature and the fan speeds
    • Second of all, set to 84 on smart mode, it keeps turning on and off, even if the amp has been off for 24 hours
    • The SMART mode on this cooler maintains my preset temp running at the slowest fan speed on my AV Receiver.
    • The trick is to figure out a baseline temp for your amp in standby mode and adjust the Smart mode to turn off when it hits that temp
    • Excellent product, my receiver still cold (i use SMART Mode)
    • When my kid and I are watching a heavy dose of anime the fans kick in on "Smart Mode" and I don't have to remember to turn it on
    • In the typical media center you stack all the devices and the heat really builds up, the Aircom T9 is awesome in that it tells you exactly what its seeing in terms of temps and switches on and off and as necessary in the Smart Mode.
    • Would like to see more functionality in the smart mode when it comes to fan trigger temps.
    • So then I set the fan to come on and maintain the cabinet to 80 degrees in "Smart Mode" and the temp came down in about 15 mins and has now maintained 80 degrees with front glass door shut for a week now

    • I wish they better explained the "smart" mode because it still runs even when it's well below my established temperature setting, whereas "auto" does not
