Even when the amp is on all day the fan rarely has to go above the third speed setting and itkeeps the unit cool (a couple of degrees below 85 F)

The T9 cooling unit works superbly and is so quiet, that when the indicators are "blacked out", I cannot tell if it is even operating

Very powerful, make sure your unit has vents on top and both sides, or at least one side for the T9 to pull the heat out of your unit.

I highly recommend this unit if you have similar cooling challenges.

Prior to using this unit to cool components, I would place 12 v dc fans flat on top of the amp or receiver.

I've had cooling units in the past from other manufactures and then is no comparison in build quality, design or performance

Would highly recommend AIRCOM units if your components are in a cabinet.

The outer amazon box was ok but the internal box that houses the unit was severely dented, like it was dropped BEFORE being shipped out by amazon

I purchased this model because it is quieter, and moves a greater volume of air, compared to their front or rear venting cooling units.

Added this to my Marantz SR5011 AVR to control the overheating issues but maybe its not all its fault but my AVR overheated and broke itself down requiring sending the unit in for warranty work

Which is Set to Auto which allows the AIR PLATE to Cycle on and off like your Home AC UNIT'S THERMOSTAT just set it and forget it, and like all good units in this Category it is a must have if you want your AV UNIT to stay around for some years and not die from premature heat stroke lol
