    Acer G257HU smidpx 25-Inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) Widescreen Monitor

    • Pros:-Slim, light, nice thin bezels-High resolution-Great price for this resolutionCons:-Washed out blacks even on lowest brightness
    • Resolution and color are good too
    • I find the 1440 resolution is perfect for general use, and Windows 10 scales to this resolution without difficulty.
    • I finally choose the 1440p because a user mentioned if you are more likely to spend more time not gaming (to take advantage of 144hrz) then a better resolution is probably more worth it
    • The images are sharp, colors are vibrant, and the 1440p resolution is impressive
    • Working on it just to read emails probably not worth the price, nor do you get much benefit form the high resolution (my computer could handle the resolution, but my eyes could not tell the difference).
    • and it recognized the correct maximum resolution for the monitor
    • The monitor itself has great resolution and sharpness the stand however is disappointing
    • The resolution stated was 2560x1440 which blew my mind
    • So I did that and sure enough, same resolution as the previous cables I had used
    • The resolution set at the maximum is a pleasure to look at and the colors are vibrant.
    • 720 games and video were going to look bad like when you run the wrong resolution on a laptop screen
    • Beautiful color, high resolution, multiple inputs.
    • I logged in remotely and the PC shows the G257HU for display with the correct 2560x1440 resolution but the monitor says no signal
    • Amazing resolution but
    • 2K is the perfect resolution for a 25" screen.
    • I also feel that resolution can only truly be ab benefit when the size and viewing distance are the right ratio
    • Initially wanted a 27 inch monitor, but was concerned that HD (1920x1080) wasn't going to be enough pixels to cover with good resolution as I do a lot of photography work and am a discerning viewer
    • Great screen and resolution for the price
    • I love it very nice to work on, easy to see, the resolution is wonderful.
    • Learned that DVI won't support full resolution.
    • I love the high resolution for the work that I do.
    • Windows users beware; your video drivers may not support the high resolution (2560 x1440) that this monitor is capable of delivering.
    • I love the extra resolution - it's more useful than 1080p without the overkill and pitfalls of 4k.
    • Price for performance is solid• Good resolution for the size• Well made panel with good colors and brightness• Great viewing angles• Nice design• Good response times• Works well as a gaming monitorCons:• Typical edge bleed from backlight in dark scenes• Stand is a bit flimsy and display can wobble if you bump your desk a
    • The resolution is incredible
    • I hooked up the DP and all the flicker was gone and the resolution was amazing
    • Liked its compact size and high resolution
    • Since the SurfacePro 4 supports a resolution of 2736x1824, I wanted a monitor that would support more than the 1920x1080 resolution that most monitors offer.
    • For less then $300 you are getting a prime example of how much better the higher resolution can be
    • windows.-The image is sharp, if you look at the pictures in the right resolution of course.-The color is fantastic!-Easy to set up.-Good viewing angle
    • This is simply the best 2k resolution monitor on the market for the price
    • Great resolution and nice looking
    • NO VGA connection since VGA cannot support the native resolution of this monitor anyway, it is not exactly "borderless."There is the variant of this with a better looking stand (still only tilts
    • The monitor cannot support 2360x1440 resolution with DVI and HDMI, even thought it ships with the dual link DVI cable
    • It came with no dead pixels, and the resolution is beautiful
    • Maybe this resolution is better for 27-inch with larger font for reading
    • To break down the resolution even further it's four times more detailed than a 720p HDTV
    • Full resolution is available through display port.
    • Higher resolution is much more enjoyable to me as I currently don't play any competitive fps shooters.
    • This referred to as HD.Well, even though there are higher resolution monitors, well beyond the Acer G257HU,this 2560 x 1440 resolution, is a satisfying full step above normal HD!1920 x 1080, looks lackluster in comparison! If you plan to use this monitor mainly for photo enhancement software, make sure your graphics card can support 2560 x 1440.Heck, many modern CPU's /motherboard combos can facilitate that
    • I love it very nice to work on, easy to see, the resolution is wonderful.
    • My monitor have 5 stuck pixels right out of the box (4 green and 1 red)Overall is a nice product, but not as "cheap" as I thoughtThe stand is nice looking but useless.... you can't adjust in ANY directionThe monitor comes with a nice set of cables: DVI, HDMI, Display Port and 3.5mm Audio too
    • I think ill still use my pc speakers but the built in ones arent as bad as i though they'd be
