Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz 27" WQHD (2560x1440) NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS Display, (Display Port & HDMI Port, 144Hz)

    • Here are the issues I've encountered:Bad back light bleedFuzziness/burn in in the top left corner of the screen after a monthScreen sort of pixelated or cross hatched (and yes, I have the resolution set to 2560x1440) after 2 monthsMonitor started flickering after 3 monthsBottom row of pixels would appear at top of screen after 5 monthsBad HDMI port after 5
    • On mine it's on the bottom right corner
    • Moreover, there is significant backlight bleed at the bottom right corner (see pic), which is apparently common with this model
    • had a bit of BLB in the bottom right hand corner, but the monitor is really nice
    • It does have some minor ips glow in lower right corner but you cant notice it in games, only black sscreens
    • The monitor also had several clusters of dead pixels, one in the top right corner, and one in the bottom right which was especially noticeable because it ran along the top of my Windows taskbar and made it look deformed
    • 25% is perfect and honestly I see maybe a sliver in the bottom right corner but again looking at
    • It seems the buttons on the front are a bit more recessed than the other monitors and I think that's the trick in the bottom right corner with the backlight bleed, the screens must have been too close to the light
    • The tiniest amount of BLB (the size of a dime in the top left hand corner)
    • Happy to report that I have no dead pixels, and the BLB in the lower right hand corner is almost none existent
    • I had the unlucky gamble of getting a panel with obtrusive backlight bleed, especially in the bottom right corner
    • Dead pixel in the top left corner, huge bleed in the bottom right corner
    • Excellent build in quality, no dead pixels, no black light leaks and just a little bit of glow in the right down corner which can be barely seen when everything on the screen is very dark, but by no means is terrible or a reason to return it
    • The upper-right corner also had some sort of glow/bleed that extended all the way down into the middle of the screen
    • Bad backlight bleed in bottom right corner
    • I had a small amount of glow in the bottom right corner but turning the power led off in the settings eliminated that
    • while you can definitely tell that the monitor is illuminated, it's completely uniform and doesn't have any of these "bleeding" glowing corners
    • When viewing the monitor from extreme angles, I have very minor yellow glow from the lower right hand corner.
    • I can't even tell unless it's a black screen or I look really closely to the bottom right corner on my monitor
    • Ill try again when more are in stock/.UpdateGot another and and the same 3 corners have bad bleeding.
    • If you are looking straight on, on a complete black screen in a pitch dark room, there is a TINY bit of "bleed" in the bottom right corner
    • The yellow glow in the bottom-right corner of mine was awful and noticeable in any dark scenes in games/movies
    • I'll just cut to the chase, the bottom right corner has a terrible backlight bleed, the other corners seem fine though
    • There is a little bit of discoloration in the bottom right corner (next to power button) but it's not BLB
    • For example if you see a Glow from the top-left corner, view your monitor at a 45 degree angle from the right side and see if that glow appears to extend farther than when you viewed it from the center.
    • Any dark scene, picture, video or area in game looks orange in 2 right corners and grey/purple/blue on the left side
    • It does have some yellow backlight bleed/glow in the right bottom corner, but as far as the monitor lottery is going this might be a keeper
    • If you're on the fence about choosing a top of the line gaming monitor and you are iffy, buy this one Pros:-g-sync-all the features-no dead pixels-no heavy amounts of back light bleedCons-price is high but consider the features-small amount of back light bleed on top left corner, not noticeable at all unless all the lights are off in a dark room with a black screen-menu kinda confusing but not really (better than the rest)-can't figure out how to turn on Ultra Low Motion
    • There are no dead pixels or dust and very minor BLB at the right corners, but the top 1/3rd of the screen does have a slight (1-3%) darker/yellow tint compares to the rest of the screen
    • In the area of backlight bleed, I am getting some noticeable bleed from the top left corner when tested using Youtube videos designed to expose BLB
    • The second monitor I received has a stuck pixel towards the center and minor back light bleeding on the right corner and bottom of the screen.
    • playingG-sync is a game changerCons:Small IPS glow in the bottom right hand corner in dark backgrounds, not noticeble on the games I play, so not a big deal to me
    • I'll just cut to the chase, the bottom right corner has a terrible backlight bleed, the other corners seem fine though
    • Pros:-Beautiful 1440p IPS display.-144Hz GSYNC (can OC to 165Hz).-No dead pixels or dust.-Minor BLB at the top-right and bottom-right corner.-Three monitor presets that you can change anytime (I set my presets to 1-general
    • Acer took into account all the complaints about the XB270HU (already a great monitor) and addressed it in this one with no cheap O-ring and no glossy bezel
    • good but have some die pixel (n . over clocking
