• Reviews around light (2.12 of 5)

Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz 27" WQHD (2560x1440) NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS Display, (Display Port & HDMI Port, 144Hz)

    • Didn't want to rejoice too soon so checked a few times more, made the entire room dark but no dead pixels, no back-light
    • I did have to exchange one of them due to a pretty bad black light bleed in the upper left, but the replacement from Amazon was fast and perfect
    • I was fortunate enough not to have any insane back light bleed
    • I did not find any dead pixels, significant back light bleed, or any other defect with this product
    • No Black light bleeding and looks beautiful
    • Backlight Bleeding is white, as it's just the pure light leaking out
    • Let me start out by saying that I have been waiting it out for a couple months now after purchasing the ROG pg279Q and returning it after 2 weeks of the worst back light bleeding and several stuck pixels.
    • Got my monitor today and no dead pixels, no excessive light bleed.
    • I'll have to see how well it performs under different gaming environments, and see whether the replacement monitor has any issues with dead pixels, screen abnormalities or the dreaded yellow black-light bleed.
    • I was terrified purchasing this monitor because of the horrible light bleed/quality control issues mentioned in reviews
    • Here are the issues I've encountered:Bad back light bleedFuzziness/burn in in the top left corner of the screen after a monthScreen sort of pixelated or cross hatched (and yes, I have the resolution set to 2560x1440) after 2 monthsMonitor started flickering after 3 monthsBottom row of pixels would appear at top of screen after 5 monthsBad HDMI port after 5
    • Also, the LED light is amber (meaning there is an error)
    • Bad back light bleeding (BLB) and yellowing of they whites
    • No black light bleed on either which was good, but the first one had pretty bad uniformity and very uneven IPS glow
    • BLACK LIGHT BLEED
    • I have my colors a bit exaggerated as I like colors to pop in games and movies
    • The 165Hz overclock as well as G-Sync really makes a difference in games because it is immediately noticeable.
    • Being an Acer product, and nVidia G-Sync ready, I figured I'd try it out
    • the viewing angles, the g-sync, lack of any dead pixels, and the excellent base
    • ugh). One G-Sync issue (or maybe just confusion on my part) is that I've set v-sync off in the control panel, but it keeps re-enabling itself somehow
    • No dead pixels, no yellow color back-light bleed on the corners, and oddly seems as though it performs better than the other one (I was starting to have spotty G-sync performance, but that could also easily be my aging video card - time will tell).I've also managed to balance out the colors between the two monitors, and they're just about identical now.
    • R Gain: 97G Gain: 97B Gain
    • The g-sync with my gtx960 (soon a 980ti) works flawlessly and I can definitely feel the difference going from 60hz to 144+hz, and I can safely say I will never be going back
    • Had issues getting G-SYNC to work, and Acer response was basically "replace your $4000 computer with dual 980s, the monitor could not be at fault".
    • Clocking at 165Ghz and buttery ultra smooth with G-sync that really smooths out game play
    • n’t recommend buying it specially when you have problem with ur eyes or wearing a glass save you cash guys
