Great looking monitor, does everything as described

Instead you get a very thin, matte bezel and a solid and cool looking stand

Colors are amazing due to IPS and the mirrorless design give it a fantastic look when you looking at it from different angles

IPS monitor is absolutely stunning in color and very realistic looking

It's really VERY nice looking, and is lacking from the models I've noted above

I liked the look of the ASUS the best, but the QC reports I'd seen had suggested that Acer currently has a leg up in that department

easy set up, fine looking games- ips so much nicer then the tn and 1440 is a nice boost from 1080, my mid range card(970) can finally stretch it`s legs-

Speaking of... if you're looking at this monitor, you've probably seen people talking about the IPS glow and backlight bleed, and the issues with QC

I bought this monitor while playing through Blood and Wine, and the look of the new bloom in Touissant was at best annoying, at worst downright ugly on my 144hz 1080p BenQ monitor, when compared to the base game

I had contemplated and researched 4K as well as the Acer 34 inch predator, however I did not want to play the monitor lottery with the Acer 34in predator and not have a guaranteed 100Hz over clock or the scan line issues that have plaguing the 34 in gsync monitors

I would highly recommend this Monitor to anyone looking for that sweet spot in gaming, 2K res and 144hz.
