If you have to scale your games from a lower resolution than native, I find the best picture comes from letting the monitor do the scaling from 2560x1440 to the monitors native resolution.

The monitor I was looking for absolutely had to have a beautiful picture, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming (this one is also advertised to OC to 180 Hz) , G-Sync technology, and NOT be crazy expensive.

240hz is almost as clear a picture from a UFO test as 144hz ULMB

This is the one 240hz monitor at a good size for me, with a good picture, G-sync, and without an obnoxious Republic of Gamers tax with anything but a justification for it
