Picture is awesome would have given 5 stars if it was sold as a monitor without speakers
If viewed from anywhere other than directly in front of the center of the screen, the picture is tinged yellow (much worse in portrait mode, where from one side it's blue).
Good monitor, has great picture for being a TN panel, id say its on par with older IPS panels in terms of color quality
Picture Quality 5/5: Literally no complaints, 1440p @ 165hz and Gsync is 100% the way to
Other than that good monitor, refresh rate, and picture besides the glow/bleed.

I run this monitor on 144 hz w/ g-sync & fast sync for a perfect gaming experience
I observe no dead-pixels on my unit and the matte finish makes for a lovely, glare-free experience
I was skeptical that I'd like an Acer product after having decades of horrible experience with their CRT monitors and laptops (IT is my income) - but so far this one pans out

Monitor refresh rates combined with a compatible G-Sync card really is a noticeable improvement in any gaming experience.
Remember you need an NVIDIA card with a Display Port that is GSYNC compatible to take advantage of this monitor

i guess lol!The picture quality almost looks like paper, the gsync helps extremely its crazy how i went from good fps but occasional stuttering to none at all, it works so well you forget it used to happen
Oh, the G-Sync freaking rocks... the only bad thing is that now I can't go back to another monitor without adaptive sync.

(I was very afraid I was going to break the stand when setting it up.
When I pulled the parts out, the stand was dirty and smudged
The stand looks crazy, but actually matches my other two acer standard led
I absolutely love this monitor, the picture and resolution of this monitor is amazing, the stand is very well made a bit heavy but solid, and easy to install
Has a good stand to adjust up and down or even rotate the monitor

I was a little shy because of how expensive this monitor was, but G-Sync + 144Hz is beautiful
Wither 3 was the biggest disappointment, I was hoping G-Sync would completely eliminate the micro stuttering, but it's still there
If you're an average user, and just want sick refresh rates and G-SYNC, save your money and go buy ASUS's 240hz 1080p panel, or if you want a higher resolution, one of the many 2560x1440 144hz TN panels on the market

The best size monitor for me personally, I like to have the entire screen inside my vision without moving my eyes
There is also a strange cluster of pixels about 1/2 the size of a US dime that will randomly jam bright

I wanted to give 1 star for such poor quality control and unit being so overpriced
I was not very happy with the 2 watts per speaker, not a loud enough high quality as I was hoping for a little bit more of a punch then my other monitor, but what can you except from just speaker monitors
At nearly $900, this is not a cheap monitor and the poor quality control means it is not one I would recommend.
The monitor itself has nice quality, good response, decent color, and as good contrast as I'd expect from a gaming IPS panel.
The monitor looks high quality, and I like the obvious, front mounted buttons for the menus

With G-sync and the higher refresh I do notice a big difference playing Pubg
My first display experienced pretty intense orange glow in the lower right corner that protruded nearly all the way into the center of the screen
If you want a fast monitor with solid G-sync I would highly recommend this.
i put it through the ringer with test and couldnt really notice any issues at all maybe the slightest glow in the corners but nothing i'd ever notice without staring for it

A great monitor but can't look past the speakers being laughable.
The speakers died after only a couple of days though, so if you don’t use externals than I recommend getting some
If you count the things that push sound out of those 80s portable TVs "speakers"
Cons:-The entire thing put together will take up a decent portion of most desks.-A single dead pixel upon delivery.-The speakers are worthless.-Throws off some heat
The speakers are laughably quiet, but I use headphones anyways lol.

Occasionally, this monitor will have a strange screen tear where there are a few pixels missing in a vertical line in a random position on the monitor
Out of the box, this monitor was working great, but after about 2 weeks without issue, the dreaded tear showed up when I started playing a game with gsync

, i literally don't understand how somethig this bad leaves quality control with a check+.Do not buy this screen unless you hate color accuracy, this thing is horrible and I cant wait till monday when I can return this and buy a properly assembled monitor for the same cost
First monitor I received worked perfectly out of the box, seems like Acer might have better quality control with their products but take that with a grain of salt.
My only complaint about the monitor is the controls for the on screen display

Finish looks high quality, easily adjustable and i love the small bezel.the ips panel is nice from every angle, colors are awesome, black levels are good.only downside of the ips panel’s
The monitor stand and panel feel very solid and has little movement when bumping the desk
packaging.-Easy assembly.-VERY sturdy construction (don't put this on a flimsy desk).-Stand is nicely adjustable in all directions, and base is wide and stable
My desk is uniquely shaped in that I cannot support a panel larger than 24 inches without having to sacrifice significant space

If you want to risk getting a defective unit, at least do it through someone else who won't try to bait and switch you, like Amazon does.

I asked Amazon and the seller to simply send me another product, assuming it was a defected unit, but they instead only refunded my money.
But the real surprise here for me was that Amazon is apparently accepting used/returned monitors and reselling them as "new" even though they KNOW that the units are defective
