  • Great size, no dead pixels, nice bright screen, physical(!!!
  • I dread ever having to use the menu
  • It is a great size while not being too big and the resolution is amazing, the colors are beautiful too
  • Great backlighting, accurate colors, and the perfect size for my desk.
  • The 27" size is great too, I was upgrading from a 22" 1080p monitor.

Reviews around picture (4.68 of 5)

  • Great monitor, picture is extremely clear and crisp and colors are vibrant.

  • I have no complaints for the monitor, the build quality is great, the picture is great, everything is perfect
  • Fast, no dead pixels, amazing picture, sturdy matte frame
  • Clear picture, no issues connecting to my MAC as I had with my last monitor.

Reviews around price (4.51 of 5)

  • Overall, this is probably going to be the best 1080p IPS monitor on the market without stepping into the ridiculous price ranges
  • For a 2K monitor, it's a great price, and great performance.
  • It really is a beautiful viewing experience overall for a cheap price
  • So, if you are looking for a GREAT 4K monitor that can do it all at a VERY reasonable price, look no further
  • I was looking for a monitor that would have good color and no glare at a reasonable price.

Reviews around stand (4.44 of 5)

  • And it has a great stand that can easily slide the monitor up and down and tilt to your preference.
  • For me, I like the fact that the stand is heavy/bulky because it doesn't wobble as easily- Refresh rate at 75hz- Nvidia drivers picked up the 2560x1440p resolution without any
  • Once mine finally did and the stand became all but unusable, I contacted ASUS to get a replacement, presumably under warranty.
  • Was a great monitor while it lasted, good color, solid stand
  • If I had to do over, I'd buy a comparable Dell or Visio monitor because of the weak stand.

Reviews around value (4.31 of 5)

  • I know some reviews have been hit-or-miss as it relates to product quality (dead pixels, color issues, etc.), but mine came flawless
  • Overall this is a great value if you're looking to upgrade to
  • This monitor has several flaws that combine to make it a poor value for money
  • I got this monitor because I was looking for a good value at this resolution level
  • In my old review I said this monitor was a good value for the time but that is no longer the case

Reviews around resolution (4.28 of 5)

  • The resolution, clarity, and color rendition of this monitor are great for pictures, games, and work
  • Any resolution smaller than this on this size screen is a JOKE
  • For example, some video cards do not support full resolution with HDMI inputs.
  • Great monitor, optimal resolution for this size, ecellent for computer work
  • bright, clear, sharp, color spot on.you may have some trouble getting the full resolution (this thing is not 1920x1080... but apparently if you dont use the right driver setup and possibly cable it will display as 1920x1080....

Reviews around quality (4.09 of 5)

  • I know some reviews have been hit-or-miss as it relates to product quality (dead pixels, color issues, etc.), but mine came flawless
  • The only con I can see this monitor having is that the speakers for it are pretty weak, with poor sound quality
  • I have no complaints for the monitor, the build quality is great, the picture is great, everything is perfect
  • and so I have to buy an aux cable.- Terrible sound quality
  • Poor Quality, Terrible customer services, would not accept return request

Reviews around product (3.81 of 5)

  • REALLY good picture, no dead pixels, another great product from ASUS.
  • This is and will be a good 4k Monitor for anyone looking to get into that viewing degree, just hope you don't get a defective product like I did :(
  • The only complaint I have is on ASUS for shipping a product without a Dual-Link DVI cable
  • Amazing picture, great build quality, great I/O, amazing product for the money
  • Not worth buying this product, and Don't expect ASUS to have good customer service if one your existing products fails.

Reviews around display (3.57 of 5)

  • This is a very nice display and seems pretty color accurate out of the
  • Monitor made a popping sound first night then lost Display
  • I bought this monitor because the retina display on my Macbook was making me dissatisfied with 1080p.
  • The display is great, the adjustability up and down, side to side is great.
  • My first monitor had a faulty Display Port connector, so I was stuck with DVI-D for a few weeks

Reviews around screen (3.53 of 5)

  • After all the modifications the screen looked amazing all colors were perfect and the monitor had great resolution, i was satisfied
  • When I use the blue light filter, the screen gets very dark, even on low settings.
  • This screen is great if you happen to get one in good shape
  • The screen originally had some severe image retention issues with certain dark screens in Farcry 4, but after playing other games the issue is non-existant.
  • Light bleed at the corners is a bit much on black screens but that doesn't matter much because the screen is rarely dark.

Reviews around star (2.54 of 5)

  • Works exactly as I expected as a second monitor + Apple TV feed.
  • I'm not sure whether ASUS provides replacements for this problem at this time, but I am knocking off two stars solely for this
  • I give it only 4 stars because for the price, it's lacking a few things like decent speakers (don't go very loud and are muffled to the rear) and has no USB built in
  • I had to knock off one star because it's not very handy when you are attaching it to two computers
  • even when booting the screen up a solid black image appears before going to the desktop and right then is when I first noticed the bottom left hand corner was basically glowing as if the screen was only showing a yellow image in that corner

Reviews around eye strain (2.47 of 5)

  • I tried the connection with a different HDMI cable (one I know works as it came from my other monitor) as well as a second computer; neither of these fixed the issue
  • Also monitor can t be turned on portrait side to work on pics or documents in one page!!SOUND: It's not that great to listen music or chat on line
  • It pleasant to look at the monitor as the matte finish doesn't cause eye strain
  • Since this monitor arrived I have had none of the eye strain I had when reading on a 1080P monitor
  • but I figured that I wouldn't have horrible eye strain on this display

Reviews around input lag (2.36 of 5)

  • I tried the connection with a different HDMI cable (one I know works as it came from my other monitor) as well as a second computer; neither of these fixed the issue
  • No noticeable input lag and the monitor stand is very adjustable.
  • For that money i'll just buy a different monitor who doesn't make me spend additional money to work a
  • Also monitor can t be turned on portrait side to work on pics or documents in one page!!SOUND: It's not that great to listen music or chat on line
  • The reason I returned for good finally was that the input lag and ghosting is really bad

Reviews around stick (2.24 of 5)

  • but I can't seem to get a monitor without dead/stuck pixels or a white bleed.
  • The only issue was the description kind of snuck in there (my fault for not reading thoroughly) that the HDMI ports would only support 1080P and that the display port was the only port 4K capable
  • Once I reverted to the most stable driver, there it was... glorious and magnificent 4K
  • The monitor supports 4K at 60Hz, but requires DisplayPort 1.2 for this
  • 1 calibrating this monitor is not even that simple 2 iCare crap doesn't even work 3 stick to 1080P or just go 4K.

Reviews around issue (2.12 of 5)

  • I've had 0 issues with this monitor so far and its amazing for the price
  • Great stand, solid construction, good settings out of the box, no major issues with panel or construction
  • and it is not just me that is having these black light bleeding out the issue,
  • Only game I couldn't get past 52fps 4k max settings was the whitcher 3.Anyways, as long as your fine with 60fps, 28"s of gloriusness, and not ips panel, this is the monitor for you
  • Of course light bleed is a issue with some of the cheaper IPS monitors, and this one is no exception

Reviews around bleed (1.97 of 5)

  • I've noticed some backlight bleeding, but it doesn't bother me much, since I usually have some light on anyway
  • My only issue with this monitor is the very evident backlight bleed on the lower right quadrant
  • Solid heavy stand, no light bleed, no dead pixels, height adjusts, monitor tilts to
  • It has great brightness and color accuracy with absolutely 0 dead pixels or backlight bleed
  • No dead pixels, and very little light bleed, which is pretty much unnoticeable under normal circumstances

  • Amazing picture, great build quality, great I/O, amazing product for the money
  • Amazing picture, great build quality, great I/O, amazing product for the money
  • For the past couple months, whenever I wake up my computer the monitor takes now 10 seconds with lots of rattling noise from the back of the screen before turning on (after showing gray/snow)
  • But that could be the video card, OS, or something else so not sure.- Big issue is the fact that it makes a hissing noise sometimes when you hook up the sound

Reviews around people (1.78 of 5)

  • I was really scared about people saying the input lag in this monitor sucks
  • Some people have complained that the buttons that are located on the lower backside of the monitor are difficult to use, while the buttons aren't super convenient, they are easy enough to use
  • This monitor has a technical problem with the DisplayPort whose solution I am posting below, so people can enjoy their monitor

Reviews around mind (1.61 of 5)

  • Amazing picture, great build quality, great I/O, amazing product for the money
  • It just boggles my mind that a company could design a monitor like this and make this kind of error
  • And then to experience the difference in those high-end games just blows my mind
  • How this passed the quality control absolutely blows my mind
  • It delivered what it promised and even if that wasn't mind-blowing it still deserves the full credit of 5 stars.

  • Only game I couldn't get past 52fps 4k max settings was the whitcher 3.Anyways, as long as your fine with 60fps, 28"s of gloriusness, and not ips panel, this is the monitor for you
  • Disable sleep on the monitor, disable sleep on the computer, no issues.
  • I guess this monitor doesn't like 'sleep' because I found a lot of issues people are having when it comes to putting this monitor to sleep.2nd UPDATE: Sputtering came back less than 24 hours after the last update so unless ASUS solves my issue soon, it will be going
  • I ended up disabling sleep and just turning on a basic screensaver.
  • As there is no way to prevent the monitor from switching inputs automatically the only workaround is to disable sleep on your computer or manually switch back to your computer using the menu which can be a pain if you have to do it a few times a day
