And it has a great stand that can easily slide the monitor up and down and tilt to your preference.
For me, I like the fact that the stand is heavy/bulky because it doesn't wobble as easily- Refresh rate at 75hz- Nvidia drivers picked up the 2560x1440p resolution without any
Once mine finally did and the stand became all but unusable, I contacted ASUS to get a replacement, presumably under warranty.
Was a great monitor while it lasted, good color, solid stand
If I had to do over, I'd buy a comparable Dell or Visio monitor because of the weak stand.
The resolution, clarity, and color rendition of this monitor are great for pictures, games, and work
Any resolution smaller than this on this size screen is a JOKE
For example, some video cards do not support full resolution with HDMI inputs.
Great monitor, optimal resolution for this size, ecellent for computer work
bright, clear, sharp, color spot on.you may have some trouble getting the full resolution (this thing is not 1920x1080... but apparently if you dont use the right driver setup and possibly cable it will display as 1920x1080....
After all the modifications the screen looked amazing all colors were perfect and the monitor had great resolution, i was satisfied
When I use the blue light filter, the screen gets very dark, even on low settings.
This screen is great if you happen to get one in good shape
The screen originally had some severe image retention issues with certain dark screens in Farcry 4, but after playing other games the issue is non-existant.
Light bleed at the corners is a bit much on black screens but that doesn't matter much because the screen is rarely dark.
Works exactly as I expected as a second monitor + Apple TV feed.
I'm not sure whether ASUS provides replacements for this problem at this time, but I am knocking off two stars solely for this
I give it only 4 stars because for the price, it's lacking a few things like decent speakers (don't go very loud and are muffled to the rear) and has no USB built in
I had to knock off one star because it's not very handy when you are attaching it to two computers
even when booting the screen up a solid black image appears before going to the desktop and right then is when I first noticed the bottom left hand corner was basically glowing as if the screen was only showing a yellow image in that corner
I tried the connection with a different HDMI cable (one I know works as it came from my other monitor) as well as a second computer; neither of these fixed the issue
Also monitor can t be turned on portrait side to work on pics or documents in one page!!SOUND: It's not that great to listen music or chat on line
It pleasant to look at the monitor as the matte finish doesn't cause eye strain
Since this monitor arrived I have had none of the eye strain I had when reading on a 1080P monitor
but I figured that I wouldn't have horrible eye strain on this display
I tried the connection with a different HDMI cable (one I know works as it came from my other monitor) as well as a second computer; neither of these fixed the issue
No noticeable input lag and the monitor stand is very adjustable.
For that money i'll just buy a different monitor who doesn't make me spend additional money to work a
Also monitor can t be turned on portrait side to work on pics or documents in one page!!SOUND: It's not that great to listen music or chat on line
The reason I returned for good finally was that the input lag and ghosting is really bad
but I can't seem to get a monitor without dead/stuck pixels or a white bleed.
The only issue was the description kind of snuck in there (my fault for not reading thoroughly) that the HDMI ports would only support 1080P and that the display port was the only port 4K capable
Once I reverted to the most stable driver, there it was... glorious and magnificent 4K
The monitor supports 4K at 60Hz, but requires DisplayPort 1.2 for this
1 calibrating this monitor is not even that simple 2 iCare crap doesn't even work 3 stick to 1080P or just go 4K.
I've had 0 issues with this monitor so far and its amazing for the price
Great stand, solid construction, good settings out of the box, no major issues with panel or construction
and it is not just me that is having these black light bleeding out the issue,
Only game I couldn't get past 52fps 4k max settings was the whitcher 3.Anyways, as long as your fine with 60fps, 28"s of gloriusness, and not ips panel, this is the monitor for you
Of course light bleed is a issue with some of the cheaper IPS monitors, and this one is no exception

Amazing picture, great build quality, great I/O, amazing product for the money
Amazing picture, great build quality, great I/O, amazing product for the money
For the past couple months, whenever I wake up my computer the monitor takes now 10 seconds with lots of rattling noise from the back of the screen before turning on (after showing gray/snow)
But that could be the video card, OS, or something else so not sure.- Big issue is the fact that it makes a hissing noise sometimes when you hook up the sound
I was really scared about people saying the input lag in this monitor sucks
Some people have complained that the buttons that are located on the lower backside of the monitor are difficult to use, while the buttons aren't super convenient, they are easy enough to use
This monitor has a technical problem with the DisplayPort whose solution I am posting below, so people can enjoy their monitor
Too many people have the same problem for you to waste your money on something that doesn't work!

Disable sleep on the monitor, disable sleep on the computer, no issues.
I guess this monitor doesn't like 'sleep' because I found a lot of issues people are having when it comes to putting this monitor to sleep.2nd UPDATE: Sputtering came back less than 24 hours after the last update so unless ASUS solves my issue soon, it will be going
I ended up disabling sleep and just turning on a basic screensaver.
As there is no way to prevent the monitor from switching inputs automatically the only workaround is to disable sleep on your computer or manually switch back to your computer using the menu which can be a pain if you have to do it a few times a day
