Good quality monitor for the price, I use it for my second monitor without issues.
It just amazes me that the quality of computer equipment continues to degrade because cost is driven down by eliminating quality control, and quality parts and labor.
Not a nice quality plastic, not comfortable settings buttons
The screen is in good quality and the price is reasonable.
This monitor has such good picture quality that it puts my HD television to shame
This is an excellent monitor and for the price, doubly excellent.
A great price and screen size for new users to break into the IPS market
This screen is sleek ,beautiful and very good for this cheap a price
-1 star for external power supply ("wall wart") - I've never seen a monitor with an external power supply, but I guess it's a way to cheat the price down
This is a gorgeous 1080p monitor at a really good price
and it's taken a couple of tumbles, but it's still working just as fine as when we bought it.
For this reason, I think a 4 out of 5 stars is adequate
I would give 5 stars to the product's quality to my size 11 shoes , but for the delay of delivery I will subtract 2 stars, I waited more than one month to get these shoe tree.
It would be a solid 5 stars if only there was less backlight bleed
I knocked two stars off because of my issues with it, and I'll be going with another monitor,
It lacks USB ports and speakers but those who don't want these things, its fairly cool monitor soft on eyes unlike others.
The speakers do not work with Mac, but otherwise the monitor is great.
You'll be much happier than if you pay a bit more for a monitor with crappy 1.5W speakers
I wasn't expecting the color to be as good as on my older, more expensive IPS monitors and boy, it's really not close.
Besides the cons of picture quality, it works as you would expect, and although the circle stand isn't the most attractive option, it is made of a nice metal, and you can put snacks in the center.

This monitor is extremely thin, and has a really slick, edge-less design
I wasn't expecting the color to be as good as on my older, more expensive IPS monitors and boy, it's really not close.
The lack of elevation adjustment is also enormously unfortunate.
I like how wide it is; as a lawyer I am usually swapping between three or more different windows, so even with two screens its a bit of a hassle.
The base is not adjustable and causes the monitor to lean a bit towards you and mine does have some black light bleed on the bottom right corner but minor
Love this monitor, got it at a good price and is huge with a sharp picture, the stand could use a bit of work but overall for what i paid for it, it was a deal.
No complaints other than it hangs a bit lower than my other Acer display
My only complaint is that I don't really like where the button is to turn it on and off, I wish it was a bit easier to press, but I'm a stickler for turning my monitors off when I'm done
Main complaint is ghosting or trailing when scrolling on websites with dark font and colors that aren't white
If you plan on using this for gaming, there is pretty bad ghosting on this monitor (specifically inverse ghosting.
I would like t know what the buttons at the bottom of the screen do
If this monitor is in a cold area the casings around the buttons will contract and cause them to activate, causing a well-known bug where the menu keeps popping up like there's a ghost in the machine.
Acer has an option called "Overdrive" and every time the monitor is turned on, it automatically turns on the Overdrive setting, which results in terrible ghosting
Even after a year, I still accidentally hit the wrong button here or there sometimes
Only con is that the physical buttons are a bit mushy and there is no tactile feedback when you press them, but on a monitor thats not really a con.
The six(!) unlabeled buttons under the monitor are not intuitive (except for the power button, which is logically the one on the outside) and even after downloading and reading the instruction manual it took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to navigate the button/menu combination so I could turn down the brightness
This screen has great picture and works fine my only gripe is that brightness is a key feature always on screens and they buried it inlittle menus you have to learn to click into with un-intuitive buttons along the bottom, with plenty of room along the bottom they couldhave easily put two buttons dedicated to brightness instead of ghosty controls like it has
I would like t know what the buttons at the bottom of the screen do
I did notice the light on the edges when used in a dark room but that is expected from an IPS monitor.
The monitor I received suffered from the issue, to the point where if the room was dark, the image would be washed out
The light bleeding is NOT noticeable unless the room is dark and the image on the screen is also dark
If you are looking for multiple monitor set up and don't sit in an extremely dark room to notice the back light issue, then you probably wont have a problem.
There is light bleed if you're in a dark room and a dark screen is being displayed
But there's no excuse for a monitor to ship out with default settings so bright they can damage your eyes or for the difficult to navigate button/menu combination.
Slight screen bleed in the top left but nothing too serious for a computer that is make to protect your eyes
The first few days of using this really hurt my eyes for some reason, but since then I must have gotten used to it
However my eyes have bothered me ever since my HP Monitor burned
The viewing angles are pretty good and the anti glare does a pretty decent job, i very rarely see myself moving the monitor even though i have two windows right by my desk (one that lets light in directly onto my screen).I'm not sure if monitors actually hurt your eyes, but i've never experienced it with this one and i am on the
