  • However, for what you're paying and what you get in return, it's an incredible value!Out of the box this monitor had no dead pixels and the backlight bleed is barely noticeable when I'm viewing a black desktop, and not noticeable at all when I'm playing games
  • great value at 240$, gotta mess with settings to get it just
  • I purchased this monitor for $150 USD on sale, which made this a great value purchase.
  • still haven't figured out the best RGB values, brightness, etc. to get the most of the picture quality but the auto function does a good enough job for right now
  • I picked mine up when it was on sale so got a great value

Reviews around deal (5.00 of 5)

  • 1080p 144hz for $150 is a great deal, and the monitor itself has been working perfectly.
  • But when you consider the price, you would be hard pressed to find a better deal.
  • Sure you could get a much better monitor but for the price this is a great deal.
  • Bought this monitor on Black Friday and for $150 I believe it's an incredibly good deal, though there is one major flaw that somehow made it through Q/
  • A very good deal for a 24inch, 144hz 1080p gaming monitor

  • Works handily with my streaming, desk work and digital media needs
  • this monitorColors are pretty true and vibrant once the monitor is calibratedHDMI 2.0 works well with consolesSwitching between
  • The r was missing and the c was all bent up and halfway pulled off
  • Of note, the stand itself is very basic, it offers no height adjustment only tilt, but works well enough at that
  • This monitor does work well, is very bright and display very vibrant colors

Reviews around size (4.49 of 5)

  • Unnoticeable bezels, great size for 1080p(23.8in), and smooth image with 144hz
  • The monitor works great with my Xbox One S on 1440p though.
  • I was using a 19.5 inch 1680x1050 monitor for the last decade, and I had always been hesitant to upgrade because it was the perfect size for my desk space
  • This was a great monitor, but I ordered the wrong size.
  • Ok so to put it plainly I really needed a good gaming monitor, I had 3 but the size, color, and response time wasn't the greatest

Reviews around price (4.45 of 5)

  • The r was missing and the c was all bent up and halfway pulled off
  • Pretty much nails all of the important factors I was looking for in a monitor: 1440p, 75hz, good colors/brightness, and a solid price
  • Also, this monitor has been discontinued thus the great price when I purchased the first one at $109
  • Highly recommended for anyone wanting a solid monitor at a very reasonable price.

  • Though, out of the box, the picture is pretty dang amazing
  • All picture lost
  • it's great quality and the picture is bright and clear.
  • You get a name brand monitor, amazing color, 1080HD, 144hz, with a beautiful picture for a very reasonable price

Reviews around gaming (4.08 of 5)

  • I was looking for a nice gaming monitor that wasn't going to break the bank and this one fits the bill
  • It's a 144hz monitor and for those that still like 1080p gaming, is a good 27" gaming monitor
  • The build quality is much cheaper than I am used to and the colors are a little weird, but for a $200 gaming monitor, who could complain
  • This monitor is overall a fantastic gaming monitor for the price and the problems i have might only be specific to my monitor
  • so I'd highly recommend it if you want that specific feature set or if you're looking for a good gaming monitor on a budget.

Reviews around sync (3.86 of 5)

  • G-sync works when used on Nvidia cards (that qualify) by clicking "enable settings for the selected display model," and works quite well to eliminate tearing
  • The monitor works great with my Xbox One S on 1440p though.
  • I was excited to have found a 1080p IPS 144hz Adaptive sync monitor after searching for a good while.
  • Free sync is amazing, was skeptical but totally worth it
  • The best monitor at this price, I'm happy with both image quality and video games performance ,no Backlight Bleed!!!i can play games without v sync on, contrast is great for me ,I reduced the contrast because it was too bright for me

Reviews around quality (3.81 of 5)

  • First few days were fantastic, amazing picture, great quality, loved the jump from a 60hz to a 144hz monitor
  • Very good for the price, and the quality of this monitor is amazing
  • The only downside is the poor built quality and the terribly unstable stand that would wiggle to the slightest movement.
  • Great quality screen can use for gaming or to watch a movie
  • the monitor is great for a lot of things but the build quality is really cheap and so is the stand

Reviews around brightness (3.77 of 5)

  • But the downside of this monitor is if you want to use the 1ms feature or mode the brightness drastically goes down which somewhat bothers me and if i try to turn the brightness back up it disables
  • The r was missing and the c was all bent up and halfway pulled off
  • The monitor also has an eco feature which dims the brightness and makes colors easier on the eyes as you game late into the night
  • The colors are dull, and the brightness isn't gonna knock your socks off.
  • Good brightness and colors, but given that it’s an IPS and 144hz

  • but I’m preferring to play on this monitor than on my Samsung 43inch 4K smart tv
  • I purchased this monitor off a competing website and it has flickering issues
  • Do yourself a favor and look up flickering issues for this model; it's an unfortunately common issue

Reviews around build (1.74 of 5)

  • The colors are great, it looks sleek, it's well built and overall deserves a high 5 out of 5 stars
  • acceptableCons:-The monitor build is cheap and a bit flimsy, but this is where acer cut corners so it is more a budget friendly build at 144hz- Overdrive at Extreme
  • Cons:-The stand is tragic, if they would have just saved your ear drums from the terrible built in speakers and designed a better stand this might be worth the $300 price tag.-IPS edge glow (my HP IPS monitor for a 1/3 the price doesn’t have it)-Terrible shipping practices, they leave the screen unprotected by cutting out the styrofoam to save money, and leave the screen exposed to be only shielded by the cardboard box it ships in
  • But I really dislike the no built-in speakers or 3mm headphone jack for sound
  • The built in speakers are terrible though

Reviews around hdr (1.44 of 5)

  • Out of the box it immediately had flickering issues with the fake HDR setting turned on, as if the screen was struggling to put out that much light consistently
  • Next HDR is completely useless, either windows HDR or the monitor HDR, just pretend this feature doesn't exist as windows HDR cause the colors to be washed out, and the monitor's HDR will just tweak some settings but will not display better dynamic range
  • I found that this monitor technically supports HDR, I was able to turn it on in the windows control panel and on the monitor, but I wasn't really sure if there was a huge difference
  • The somewhat useless HDR won't work via displayport, for example
  • In order to have HDR enabled, refreshratenumlock is enabled, if you disable refreshratenumlock, it also disables HDR
