When used in a well lite room which was the intention you don't see any light on the edges and it looks great.
-
I did notice the light on the edges when used in a dark room but that is expected from an IPS monitor.
-
If you are looking for multiple monitor set up and don't sit in an extremely dark room to notice the back light issue, then you probably wont have a problem.
-
I don't have to use my phone flashlight to see icons printed on the monitor itself when the room is dark.-Similar size to my previous monitor, not too large/small, nice resolution
-
The only thing I dislike is that it could be brighter to show up well in well-lit rooms, but that is the IPS displays fault.
-
The monitor I received suffered from the issue, to the point where if the room was dark, the image would be washed out
-
Even in a bright room you can see the screen bleed, nothing like most reviews implied.
-
I setup this room in an absolutely dark room with the brightness set to max and used a fullscreen pure black image and here were my
-
The light bleeding is NOT noticeable unless the room is dark and the image on the screen is also dark
-
There is light bleed if you're in a dark room and a dark screen is being displayed
-
but if you are watching a show with dark corners around the edge in a dark room it's pretty apparent
-
I haven't found the edge lighting to be as obtrusive as some reviewers have reported, perhaps because I don't play games in a very dark room, so that's a moot point for me
