OMEN 27 by HP 27 Inch Gaming Monitor QHD 165Hz 1ms NVIDIA G-SYNC (Black Aluminum)
Size:27"
Dominate fast-paced combat with a lightning fast 165Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. Now you can savor every triumph, without missing a single detail.
The size and resolution combined is perfect for how far away it is from my arms length and the picture is perfect because of it
The response time feels very fast in the default gaming mode, and using the clock test it seems to be somewhere between 8-11ms over all which is very good for a panel this size
Higher resolution than 1080P but not so high that I can't read text or icons like on 4K. Great size
While the size was nice with the tv, the image quality is vastly superior on this monitor
Everything is extremely crisp and the size seems "just right" for getting a lot done without having to swivel my head around a bunch to see the entire monitor
Long-Term Review (~1-year)I purchased this almost a year ago and this monitor is a great value, *with* the proper setup.
Overall I am very pleased with this monitor as it is has a very good picture, menu is user friendly and is a great value for the price.
(mine came dented and scuffed)I have to say that I am really loving HP's Omen display and feel that it is a great choice and a terrific value
The colors are not as good as with any of my other IPS monitors, its 8bit color depth is a massive downside and noticeable all the time
Pros:-Nice sturdy stand with up/down tilt-Tasteful design and logo despite being a "gaming" monitor-Very thin depth and low profile bezels-Great viewing angles-Best value for large 1440p monitorCons:-75hz frame skipping on non-Freesync GPUsThis is advertised as a 75hz monitor but will frame skip if you do not have a newer AMD Freesync graphics card or if you have any NVIDIA card.
A few adjustments to the monitor and Nvidia settings realized a 75 Hz refresh rate
The 100% RGB renders great colors for photos while movies look absolutely stunning and games especially so with the 75 Hz refresh rate and 5ms response time
The stand is good and sturdy, doesn't move too much when I hit the desk and you can move the tilt of the monitor, not up and down though.
I actually kind of like the stand in a way because you can run cables through the middle if you wanted to
The only bad thing I can say about this monitor is that the stand is not adjustable.

The only issue I really had was getting the stand into the monitor as I got no real instruction other than a paper with a picture showing how the stand goes in, but it literally took me 20 minutes to figure out how to get it into the slot to stay in place (without tilting inside the stand) and it never really snapped in like I think it should have
Such a great design, elegant surface, it's huge, curved, g-sync, USB downstream, upstream
futuristic, super angular, edgy designs like those found on the ASUS PG348Q, and I am certainly not a fan of awful logos like that of the Acer X34

Seeing the ASUS and Acer competitors in person, I kept having to try not to look at the strange design choices they made when it came to the panel housing and stands
The monitor's design looks good and has a nice feel to it
This screen is amazing!Don't listen to the negative reviews, they are all based of people not knowing how to configure their setup or possibly a defective screen
What a nice monitor, massive screen, great color and resolution.
This is probably not the best screen for desk use, but would be okay from a short distance
Screen looked great, the 2k and overclocked at 165 was a major upgrade over my 1080p 144hz monitor
My future vid card will be AMD now that I am locked into freesync as I do not plan on ditching this beautiful screen any year soon.
The colors are not as good as with any of my other IPS monitors, its 8bit color depth is a massive downside and noticeable all the time
I don't notice any ghosting or input lag or anything, when playing games like Overwatch
TV.There is ZERO input lag noticable and the 32 inch size is absolutely perfect for gaming and a small amount of Netflix ect
BenQ XL2430T - I never felt like this panel introduced any input lag in the display chain
Even on the gaming preset with response time turned down as low as possible, input lag is still a big issue in this monitor, especially considering it's marketed toward people who play games
It would have 5 stars if wasn't for 1 dead pixels out of the box, you wouldn't notice for normal game or anything unless, you're focusing on that spot, light weight monitor and the picture look great for the $$
The panels are LED backlit AMVA+, no light bleed, dead or stuck pixels
I lost some vertical pixels but gained a lot of horizontal room to work and play
No dead pixels or any light bleed which made me quite happy
Also, most of the curved displays above 30" still utilize 1920x1080 pixels which fine for a 27 or 28" monitor but less than satisfactory for a 32" display
