OMEN 27 by HP 27 Inch Gaming Monitor QHD 165Hz 1ms NVIDIA G-SYNC (Black Aluminum)

    • The monitor is gorgeous and the stand is super solid.
    • The only issue I really had was getting the stand into the monitor as I got no real instruction other than a paper with a picture showing how the stand goes in, but it literally took me 20 minutes to figure out how to get it into the slot to stay in place (without tilting inside the stand) and it never really snapped in like I think it should have
    • It also doesn't have a height adjustable stand
    • I actually kind of like the stand in a way because you can run cables through the middle if you wanted to
    • The only bad thing I can say about this monitor is that the stand is not adjustable.
    • Pros:-Nice sturdy stand with up/down tilt-Tasteful design and logo despite being a "gaming" monitor-Very thin depth and low profile bezels-Great viewing angles-Best value for large 1440p monitorCons:-75hz frame skipping on non-Freesync GPUsThis is advertised as a 75hz monitor but will frame skip if you do not have a newer AMD Freesync graphics card or if you have any NVIDIA card.
    • The stand is good and sturdy, doesn't move too much when I hit the desk and you can move the tilt of the monitor, not up and down though.
    • The stand is pretty amazing too: I purchased a vesa mount, but found that the vesa mount and this stand take up the same sort of footprint and performed worse so I am sticking with the stand it came with
    • The screen real estate is nice when coming from a 24" 1920x1200 monitor, as I was.- High quality, sturdy stand.- USB hub, but only at USB 2.0.- Build quality seems good
    • When playing movies that are not the highest resolution, they come out slightly grey and the blacks are no where near as accurate as with IPS monitors
    • The colors are not as good as with any of my other IPS monitors, its 8bit color depth is a massive downside and noticeable all the time
