Brighter corners on dark backgrounds as others have noted, but otherwise a good cheap monitor.

In particular, a large area in the upper left hand corner was severe enough to be seen even in medium bright backgrounds let alone black

Besides it's 4ms response you can see ghosting when move the mouse agaist white backgroud (web browse, read text on white background)- Uncomfortable monitor configuration

The problems I have encountered so far -1) Cannot get a True white background on many websites that use White as their backgrounds

Besides the cons of picture quality, it works as you would expect, and although the circle stand isn't the most attractive option, it is made of a nice metal, and you can put snacks in the center.
