The color of the screen is too bright so that it hurts my eye when I read texts

I reacted negatively to the sheer size of it at first since it was a huge increase over my previous monitor and found that it increased eye strain and eye fatigue but that's more a function of my adjustment period than the actual quality of the monitor.
