We had a lesser model but after three years the outside unit stopped working.

I would highly recommend this unit.

I have only had the unit a couple of weeks and it has by far exceeded my expectations

I had a cheaper Acu-Rite unit that only lasted a couple of years

About three weeks ago the unit froze up entirely and would not function

Awesome unit; but after about 18 months - outdoor humidity reads 99% and never changes.

A wealth of information is displayed and the sending unit is working like a charm giving us much needed rainfall information, windspeed etc.

Then I woke up one morning and the unit had gone dark and was no longer receiving information from the outside unit.

Set the unit up per the instructions on a 6' 4x4 post and it works wonderfully.
