This is seriously cool.-OTHER THOUGHTS-One slightly odd thing is the way the touch-sensitivity works on this thing compared to other keyboards.

The keys are small and don't necessarily feel amazing, but this thing is great for getting ideas out while traveling.

Considering the only thing remotely close to the LPK is that crappy looking thing called the Nanokey, this is the laptop controller to get.

this thing has so many good things going for it

no speakers, no sound, 25 tiny unweighted keys, transmits bluetooth with no noticable latency (which is really impressive), and it is made by Akai (which is a legit company that makes products you'll see in almost any music video that has a dj in it)so, this thing is really awesome for what it does - i think it's a tiny bit expensive for that, tho, as it doesn't really have any competitors in its' class (you can buy a cheap wired one from a different company for something like $35) -

After a month of light use and traveling this thing no longer works at all

One bad thing about the product is that the editing software is terrible (at last on Mac).

Despite the fact that it's entirely made of plastic, this thing is remarkably solid

Interesting thing is that the complete piece is in fact as long as two octaves at normal size minus 1 cm

Unlike the Nanokey, which feels like Korg put a bunch of spacebars side by side, Akai actually made an effort to make this thing feel like a keyboard

It's a good thing I bought a copy of ACID Music Studio 9.0 this past weekend, or I would not have had anything to get started when I received this keyboard.

Holy crud, this thing is awesome for being so portable and qutie sensitive for under 60 dollars.

, i was mad but after some research i found out that the reason it wasn't was because of my system, and that is why i am writting this review, to warn anyone that wants this and has 7 to not buy it, i put three stars only because it didn't come with a warning or system requirements on the package or on the details and specs, so good thing but bad packaging and labeling.
