It appears to be well built and perfect for writing on the go
This keyboard is small so it doesn't take up too much of my limited space, and the keys feel great, it also seems pretty well built, as if it's going to last a long time
But that being said as far as I know AKAI products are pretty reliable, and well built, and this product feels solid
I was expecting a much larger and well built midi rig for the price point
The keys are solid and have a good spring to them, the built in arpeggiator is awesome, and with the included software, you can program up to 4 presets.
I use it for songwriting and also as a travel-sized instrument, and I love it.great quality, great price!
The quality of the keys are really good (a nice smooth action)
For any of you other producers out there looking for a portable, affordable, quality keyboard
The build quality seems to be very good, and what features it has work as advertised.
Despite what others say about it only working for so long at a time , screw that , I have sat countless hours making music with this until I was exhausted and forced myself to go to sleep, so for anyone looking for great quality in a small portable keyboard I recommend this 100%
The octave buttons work very well, and arpeggiator has some surprising and cool effects (depending upon the software)
It's not loaded with gimmicks--just the essentials, and the essentials work very well indeed
Perfect for portable music theory analysis and works really well with Garage Band.
I understand how MIDI USB keyboards work, and the problems you can run into, but this keyboard was a real pain
Nevertheless the device recognition was working well in my case, along with an USB-Microphone, a Miditech Midi-Interface and an Aureon Dual USB Audio Stick the LPK-25 worked undisturbed with Cantabile Light, Reaper and Zynewave Podium free
I use it for songwriting and also as a travel-sized instrument, and I love it.great quality, great price!
Great price for what all the things it does..like ARPEGGIO!
Also, if I depress these upper keys (C#, F and A) and THEN depress the middle A, the upper keys cancel out
Yes, I would since I paid a fair price of $48.15 for it
A Pro's keyboard even of LPK-25's size should utilize this technique properly, and if not, it should not be called 'Pro' and is even at a half of it's price too expensive.
I just dislike the very heavy feeling of the keys and wish they were a bit lighter
Keys are very cheap-feeling and have no pressure sensitivity
Keys were a little stiff feeling when I first started playing it, but with a little time of use they loosen up so you don't need to press them so hard for the velocity.
This little keyboard is pretty, feels OK, keys have a nice feeling considering the price; but it's totally useless as a live instrument
The buttons have aa nice feel to them -- solid to press, but with a nice rubbery surface
The problem exists with the faulty usb connection which eventually stops connecting(I read the reviews mentioning this but didn't think it would happen to me)
Also the user reviews here have a ton of complaints about a faulty usb connector, but seems rock solid to me
Love the USB in lieu of MIDI hook ups.
Great little (very small) usb keyboard
USB Mini-B port is frustrating and weak, and doesn't work from time to time
