Korg microKEY2-37 - Key iOS-Powerable USB MIDI Controller with Pedal Input
Size:37-Key
An uncomplicated, straightforward design, compact size, and easy connectivity made the first-generation micro KEY series a bestseller. Our second-generation micro KEY lineup retains those attributes and adds iPad and iPhone support, plu...
It's the perfect size for storing and getting out occasionally
The size of the keys are good and matched what I already has read on other reviews
The key size was my next concern (being a micro keyboard) but this was not an issue either, the keys are responsive and appropriate sized for smaller keys.
The keyboard is just the right size and weight - not too light so it feels like a toy, but not too heavy so it’s clunky
The keys have great weight, aren't super firm like the Alesis, and the micro size makes it easier for a person with smaller hands (like me) to use
These things aren't enough to drop the fifth star, though, because this little keyboard is just perfect to let me noodle around at times and in places where I couldn't otherwise do it
the most important thing right

The keys are more substantial than other inexpensive keyboards I've used, but they are quite small, and the weighting is not as satisfying as on higher end keyboards

I have the 37-key, and highly recommend it as it provides just the right blend between functionality and portability
If I had more room, I would have preferred a bigger keyboard, but for the amount of horizontal space I have, this 25-key was suitable
great format, mediocre keys
However, as the laptop doesn't have disk space for the large symphonic instruments, I use it mostly for the Reaktor-based soft synths and various drum kits and effects, and the 37 keys are enough for this
The keys are a touch small, which you would expect, and are decently responsive, but if you are looking for sensitive keys, you won't find them here - the variation in velocity isn't the best with this controller, but at this price point, you aren't really going to get very responsive keys
