If you don't like/want synth keys that could be a problem

First, the keys are great

Really loved all the features and weighted keys!

: it wouldn't play the note properly at first, and when it finally did (having tapped it a dozen times) it's not as velocity-sensitive as the other keys

I've read some complaining about squeaking keys, however I have had no trouble with this

had a couple stiff / inconsistent keys.. didn't integrate well into my software (reason)

In my opinion, the keys have the perfect, give/springyness/whatever you call it

I would definitely recommend fully weighted keys and a full size keyboard, and then maybe just get the drum pad

I really love the velocity sensitive keys that really makes your feel in control of your production.

For those considering a budget option but not sure whether a board like this is worth it, the keys, the pads, and the knobs/faders are significant improvements over budget alternatives

I liked the 49 keys for the size, because it can be easily put away after I finish playing around
