Here are my thoughts on the Akai Professional Tom Cat Electronic Drum Controller;Pros+ Sturdy construction with a nice solid but not overly heavy feel.+ Disco Toms, Maul feature are nice additions to this model as well as the added filter on the snare.+ Pads have a nice soft yet durable feel and the buttons are noticeably clicky.+ Relatively easy to program, even for beginners like myself.+ Affordable substitute for actual 808 and 909 hardware synths
