I am still looking for a good pair of mixing headphones, and have decided to go to a music store and try a bunch first

but I still consider the 240's a pretty "lively" pair.

My old pair gave out after some 15 years of use, and unintentional abuse, so,

I bought my first pair of these AKGs sometime from 1975 to 1978, and loved them.

and I would say these are my favorite pair of headphones to listen to out of the 4 I own

These headphones are highly recommended for serious music aficionados as well as audiophiles paired with a decent amp.

I had a pair of sennheiser hd200 and these outdo in sound quality.

Excellent pair of headphones, their open back desing gives you a great spacial efect and they reproduce a blanced sound like a studio monitor should, very proud of my purchase that came after serious research and soe good recomendations and reviews, detachable and replaceble cable and ear muffs

Overall though, these are a great pair which will remain in my studio.

ok so i got these headphones because ive never really had a decent pair of headphones and i wanted some good monitors for mixing music and for when im playing my bass and dont want to disturb anyone
