No bumpy headband either

The headband for the akg 702 as most noted is very uncomfortable.

The adhesive holding on the earpads liquified and ruined the pads and headband

That would probably be uncomfortable since these do have a bit of clamping pressure, but nothing compared to my Audio Technica AD2000X's, which are all clamp and no headband (extremely uncomfortable!)

The HDJ-2000 was more comfortable because of the plush headbands and pads.

While the headband can be fatiguing after extended periods, these headphones are no slouches for 250 dollars

And for me the headband wasn't as comfortable as could be, in my experience

fantastic flat sound ,real monitor sound, very smooth very wide sound , detail is amazing ,but very cheap flimsy plastic made, broke headband in lots of places in 1

That isn't to say it doesn't do a great job of presenting rock, pop, reggae and simpler folk as well as it is certainly pleasant, can't understand why some people complying about the bass as I find it enough and not over doing it like some other headphones

I am not expert but can say that the sound is exactly what i wanted - absolutely transparent reproduction of the source as crisp and clean as it can be

If you crank the volume up, you won't annoy anyone around you as the leakage is minimal

These really need a high quality amp to shine as they are power hungry.
