Alera ALEEL42ME10B Elusion Series Mesh Mid-Back Multifunction Chair, Black

    • Finally I got this chair which gives me terrific support and very precise adjustments for height, seat angle, seat back angle.
    • The chair is quite comfortable with good lumbar support even though there is no direct adjustment knob for it (you can raise and lower the back rest as well as adjust the angle)
    • There are excellent back support, height, armrest, and tilt controls easily accessed, and the ventilated back keeps you from getting overheated during long sessions in the chair.
    • ( Alera Elusion Series High Back Multifunction ), which provides much better upper-body support, the same quality parts and mesh construction, and a similar price ($220 vs. $170 as of August 2013)
    • For me, I think it's comfortable while providing ample support without being too "pillowy" to the point where you feel like your sinking..
    • The Elusion's arms provide adequate support and adjust high enough to keep my arms and hands at the perfect level for my desk
    • There's not a lumbar bar but the contour of the tight mesh back provides plenty of comfortable support without digging into your back.
    • The back support is very nice and has adjustable height
    • Can't tell if the support is good due to the fact that the adjustments are so difficult and you have to be limber to be able to do anything with them
    • The seat itself is comfortable and has great support.
    • I really wish that the Alera had better support but its really a personal choice.
    • It lets my back well supported, the seat is comfortable and wide enough
    • Good support but don't expect it to be plush or luxurious
    • comfy, great support
    • Solid, sturdy, good back support once you get the settings right
    • Comfortable seat - solid padding, back supported enough to be able to spend hours on the chair
    • I don't need added pillows, my but is very comfortable and the back support is great!
    • And even if you cannot sit in this chair before buying, you can rest assured that you will be able to adjust the settings to where this chair gives you excellent comfort and support
    • Would be nice to have adjustable lumbar support, but for the price point, we can make do without.
    • I would recommend this chair for people that need good back support and comfortable seat.
    • height adjustmentBuild QualityEasy AssemblyValueWeaknessesArm rests cannot be adjusted easily on the fly, could use more cushionSeat length and chair height will be hard to accommodate people shorter than 5'4"Wish the seat material was mesh, but that's a personal preferenceNo lumbar or adjustable lumbar support
    • so support is important
    • the seat is far too long, so if I want to sit upright with proper back support, my legs (femur) are too short to comfortably sit
    • Really like this chair...comfortable yet has good support
    • Really like this chair...comfortable yet has good support
    • lots of cushioning and great adjustable lumbar support for my lower back which complains when I sit in substandard chairs.
    • There was dirt all over the place on the parts - the arm wrest, the support
    • At the office I have a Steelcase chair and I've sat in plenty of other expensive supports
    • There is plenty of cushioning and the back support is excellent and breathes well

    • They provide good support as I am typing this and are adjustable up and down, as well as out and in (left and right). This chair has a lot of levers on the bottom and feels infinitely adjustable.
    • The back is mesh and offers nice airflow and support
