Alesis DM6 USB Kit | Eight-Piece Compact Beginner Electronic Drum Set with 8" Snare, 8" Toms, & 12" Cymbals

    • They are the perfect solution for the Urban drummer, who needs a quiet way to practice
    • There is enough slack in the cables to hook up the control head all the way to the right so the tom-toms are groped together, which is what I did.
    • First all the way loose, and then very tight, and then a little less tight
    • Email is the best way, but even then I only got a response about 80% of the time
    • DO expect this to be an EXCELLENT way to decide if you are really wanting to get into some real money on drums
    • Supposedly, if you hit the pedal the right way, it makes the sound of a hi-hat opening, like on a real hi-hat, but we have had very little luck with that
    • They are the perfect solution for the Urban drummer, who needs a quiet way to practice
    • I really like the way it feels and really enjoy the option of 15 different sounding kits
    • So far, this has been a great way for me to get in more drum practice while living someplace where a real drum set isn't an option
    • Great way to jam without annoying the neighbors
    • There is no better way to say this, but electronic drums are marvelous
    • the picture is a pretty good guide, but not necessarily the best way to arrange things.
    • However, I won't rate it down for that because at 350 bucks, I think I may have paid 300 when I originally bought it, it's still a great way to practice quietly in many living situations.
    • but either way, this rendered the kit nearly unusable as a recording device
    • If you or your kid wanted to learn the drums, this is an excellent way to learn without spending $$$$ in a kit that you may not use in the future.
    • HahaOverall I rank this set so far as a great way to jam with friends without having to say sorry to the cops
    • He enjoys it as it's great for him to
    • It should sound quieter and more echo-y towards the sides.
