    • and when I record with it, it will have a nice direct sound
    • Snare can get good rim shot sounds and you can choke the crash.
    • The sounds are pretty good, though the ride and closed hi-hat could be louder.
    • In the minus column, the number of usable on-board sounds is pretty limited, and most of the stock kits pretty much sound the same.
    • Note: We were unable to get enough sound in our headphones when plugged directly into the unit; instead we recommend getting a drum amplifier and running headphones through there
    • There are limitations but for practice you have a click track, built in tunes, and options to hook in headphones, and amp and your phone or mp3 player to drum to your favorite sounds.
    •  I need to get some risers and it needs a whole lot better assembly instructions, otherwise it would be 5 stars, sounds great, you need to adjust pad volumes to really dial it in though and the only thing that uses the drum key they send you is in the assembly of the kick pedal.otherwise it uses either key tightners or an Allen key that provide

    • The preset sounds are a great quality selection and the play-along songs are catchy and fun to play with
    • Great response from the pads, somewhat less from the cymbals and volumes require adjustment to get a well-rounded sound regardless of kit selection
    • Was upset no sound with it, not even head set
    • The sounds are nice on the preset kits, not the greatest, but good enough
    • I think the sound is pretty good, again, like I mentioned before, this is just a hobby
    • Being a huge fan of Erin Tate, I can definitely say you can't quite get the response out of the hi-hat and control that you can get out of a real hi-hat, and the rubber doesn't give as much rebound as a real hi-hat, but the mesh heads are great and silent, and the snare rim shots and simulations in general sound pretty realistic
    • The sound will be very low and you will waste your time thinking you have a bad unit
    • The included sounds are fine for

    • Sound is horrible with excellent grade amp
    • Great sound!
    • But you can't go wrong with these, they sound very good and with some tweaking you can really have an awesome sounding set,
    • (it helps to number the pieces with a tag), get it set up the way it should be, i.e. position of drums and cymbals, and also how to use the Utilities settings to tweak things to get a really nice jazz sound, especially with the ride and hi hat.
    • The sound is awful and I tried it with many different pairs of headphones thinking that was the problem
    • Sound is good.

    • Solid kit with good sound.
    • Pros: 1) cheap 2) sounds are decent (you have to learn how to customize a user kit in order for it to sound good) 3) comes with drum sticks, kick pedal, and has an actual floor tom instead of a pedal
    • I have 15 years playing drums but this is my first e-drum, the sound is greats and it can be configured with too many details to obtain the sound you like, the sensitivity is really

    • but it lacks enough diverse sounds
    • most sound are pretty
    • I actually use my cheap Chinese cymbals for the hi-hat and ride cymbals because I get a much better sound from the Nitro module.
    • I didn't really feel like assigning new sounds to the various pads, mainly because I use it connected to my computer via USB, and not stand alone, and second because there are a lot of buttons to do a lot of various operations
    • In the minus column, the number of usable on-board sounds is pretty limited, and most of the stock kits pretty much sound the same.

    • Excellent starter kit, great sound and portable
    • I plugged it into a Hartke HD 50 Bass Amp and it is more than enough sound for my place.
    • Very easy to put together very straightforward, The sound modules has nice sounds and great features such as the learning features in the play along with song features, The pads are very responsive and if there is any lag with the latency I Can't tell.
