Can't beat this for useable drum patterns that are very configurable, after a few YouTube instruction videos.
-
UPDATE: they made taking out the drum/percussion/ or BASS sound out of a pattern VERY EASY
-
I bought this after selling a Boss 670 drum machine that had really funky, Loud and unusual drum patterns (had great tone, clearity, rich sound) that I could never figure out how to do anything with it, other then change tempo, volume and a/b pattern switch
-
Took me some time to find the right patterns to match with my songs, needs more 3/4 time beats, but overall is pretty good
-
Number 2, I think the existing patterns are pretty cool for jamming, but they seem a bit busy for recording
-
It has excellent drum sounds, plenty of cool drum patterns, and many usable drum kits
-
You can program a song beat for beat or jam along to the many cool patterns they have
-
The drum sounds themselves are a bit unrealistic but the programmers created VERY usable pattern styles
-
I've only created a blues pattern between a couple of the presents to jam against -great fun.

don't plan on being able to create intricate drum patterns, you will be lucky to make simple, rudimentary beats and timings
