The best drivers I've found are not the official ones that's included in Kali 2017.3, and the better ones are still having power issues that aren't allowing these to see networks at any great distance

The Linux drivers are far from perfect, and for any wlan auditors out there, the drivers won't remain stable long enough to do any auditing, such as with airodump and reaver/reaver+pixie, etc

Unfortunately I think the drivers need more work

You do have to use the proprietary drivers from the aircrack github but they work.

The driver is very useful with directional antennas allows you to pinpoint the router from the truck

Many of the reviews that i read about this card stated that it worked after a little work installing the drivers.

Easy driver installation for all three platforms, very fast throughput, monitor mode, even a nice removable surface mount/clip

Running Linux, the driver disk was useless to me, but Alfa has the proper drivers on their website

Good product for windows but monitor mode needs better drivers for linux.

Before you think it's possibly me using the wrong drivers: I've used the ones Windows automatically applies, as well as the ones downloaded directly from Alfa's website; I've used it with and without the RealTek software; I've tried it with and without my built-in wireless adapter enabled; and I've used it in varying locations around the room
