The only negative I can think of is the stand has a large footprint, so if you have a shallow desk might want to think about mounting it.
-
I purchased this monitor recently and I really like the design and solid stand
-
The stand is even perfect for something this size
-
Monitor works great the stand came with a broken power pin so the lighting on the stand doesn’t work
-
The stand would be amazing if you could pull it out from the base but unfortunately not.
-
Only major complaint is how bulky the stand is
-
Great stand
-
I definitely recommend getting a mounting arm because the stand that it comes with, while incredibly sturdy and with loads of movement, it is HUGE
-
This thing has that great back light, and the way it illuminates the stand makes it look very much like something out of area 51.I played on a ultra wide way back in the day, and the technology was new, so the games hadn't really caught up to it yet.
-
The adjustable stand and the ring lighting make those attention to details well worth it
-
It also has an adjustable stand.
-
The stand is beautiful and is adjustable in all the important ways
-
The stand is sturdy and the monitor looks good on my desk
-
Pros: Didn’t have to tinker with settings, absolutely beautiful display, vivid colors, well built monitor stand, better than I expected... side note: went from platinum rank in rocket league to diamond in the first few hours on the new monitor, might be unrelated but ultra wide definitely feels advantageous
-
n’t go wrong with it

Overall I am happy with the AW3420DW for the significantly better build quality, as well as having a dedicated G-SYNC module for the more graphically intensive games I play where frame rate can fluctuate more.

I've played previously only at 4K for about 8 months, and when I went back to 1080p I was astounded as to how much better my computer handled it.
