    • If you need a heavy duty weapon, use the sauce pan, it will make a bigger impression
    • So the kettle boils water about as fast as you can boil water in a quality sauce pan
    • No need to use a sauce pan on the induction cooktop anymore
    • In comparison, a quart of water took 3 minutes and 16 seconds to come to a rapid boil in a Demeyere 2 quart sauce pan.
    • Great looking, reasonably well built but not as heavy as the all-clad sauce pans you are used to
    • I prefer the shiny S/S finish to the brushed finish.
    • The pouring spout gets super-heated during the boil so that when pouring it causes the water to re-boil as it comes up the spout, spattering boiling hot water in all directions (again, where the wooden spoon handle helps)On the rare occasion that the whistle does work, it's pretty feeble, and inaudible over the stove's exhaust fan, so you pretty much have to watch the kettle while its on (which of course results in a watched pot never boiling).2 stars for looks, capacity and heat retention (but if minor burns is your kink, then you could tack on a couple more stars).
