We wanted a stainless steel kettle since the enamel variety seem to chip leaving you with rusting steel to boil your water in
-
As with all my “All Chad” products the kettle has a high-quality stainless steel sturdy construction.
-
Love the look, the stainless steel, just everything about this kettle, EXCEPT the whistle is not loud enough to hear from another room.
-
Great Product; 100% Steel!
-
The quality of the stainless steel is excellent as always, though.
-
On the other hand, if you want to buy a non-electric, pure steel kettle, you will find it impossible to find a 100%-made-in-USA steel kettle
-
I thought that with stainless steel, that wouldn't happen.
-
For this price, the kettle should be tri-ply (the "clad" in All-Clad, representing stainless steel sandwiching a layer of a aluminum) and USA made.
-
I think the stainless steel used is defective
-
I bought this and was willing to pay the high price tag because it was both Stainless Steel and supposedly made in the USA.
-
We've continued to use it because it is stainless steel but are very disappointed the product didn't hold up to how it was presented for such an expensive item.
-
But I really just needed an official answer, because I saw a lot of customers complaining about it on new stainless steel pots and pans as well
-
Like all stainless steel sitting on the stove however, after not too long, it's a bit spotted with grease and such, and the lovely glossy shine is gone
-
It look nice with high quality stainless steel.
-
This stainless steel teapot is smart looking and works just fine.
-
It looks so nice on my stainless steel stovetop.
-
Pros: It's all stainless steel, so it'll never been to be re-tinned, and shouldn't leech dangerous metals into my water
-
Good quality steel
-
I've had this stainless steel tea kettle since 2017, and it has functioned beautifully every single day since then
-
Most importantly, it seems that it is the only option for me, as I want a healthy, pure steel kettle
-
I absolutely love my All-Clad Stainless Steel Tea Kettle!
-
I also loved the mirror-like gleam of the stainless steel!
-
This is an addendum to an earlier review of my recent purchase of the All-Clad stainless steel kettle
-

-
I was just thinking, I guess, that for the high price, the stainless steel would actually not stain on the inside
-
I am extremely please---it is a high quality stainless steel kettle that is hard to find these days
-
Great looking, solid all stainless steel kettle
-
Its a beautiful kettle, but stainless steel?
-
This is extremely worrying since that is a sign of un pure stainless steel
-
It's all stainless steel inside and out
-
weeks). The stainless steel is also difficult to keep looking new.
-
Tea kettle looks great, fits in with my Emeril cookware set, time will tell how it stands up but since it's stainless steel it should last...
-
its just like a stainless steel pan handle.
-
Didn't love that so went with a plain stainless steel version
-
Low quality stainless steel can contain very harmful chemicals that leech into the food or water and slowly poisons the person using it
-
Stainless steel should never get rusted even after a whole life time of usage; I didn't expect this of All-Clad, extremely disappointed!I am hoping All-Clad will provide us with a replacement; I’ll keep everyone posted on the development.
-
this one looks great, although i wish it came in brushed stainless steel.
-
It is all stainless steel, no plastic anywhere
-
China steel is not as good as US steel.
-
Beautiful polished stainless steel, looks great on my cooktop!
-
That aside, this is a well built stainless steel kettle with a really appealing classic look and a nice weight to it.
-
I wanted a stainless steel kettle
-
The only plastic-free option is a stainless steel kettle like this one
-
I first came across this kettle about six months before I purchased it, and spent that time considering the purchase and searching (with no success) for another all stainless steel kettle with good reviews at a reasonable price
-
Yes, because the entire kettle (handle included) are made of stainless steel, it was necessary to use a potholder to avoid a burn injury
-
This kettle heats fast due to its shape in stainless steel which always c look sans well
-

It's almost impossible to find a plastic-free electric kettle today, and the only pure steel electric kettle is not in good-quality (I am not gonna say the product brand) as one inner portion of that kettle was made of iron and soon got rusty
-
but knowing that stainless steel is not a good conductor of heat (so the handle should be unlikely to heat up), i purchased it hoping i wasnt missing something and knowing if i was
-
I wanted stainless steel (no rusting), quality, something easy to clean, a kettle that looked good sitting on my stove (I leave it out), and one that would LAST.
-
Is stainless steel supposed to rust?
-
weeks). The stainless steel is also difficult to keep looking new.
-
I prefer the shiny S/S finish to the brushed finish.
