As with all my “All Chad” products the kettle has a high-quality stainless steel sturdy construction.

Love the look, the stainless steel, just everything about this kettle, EXCEPT the whistle is not loud enough to hear from another room.

On the other hand, if you want to buy a non-electric, pure steel kettle, you will find it impossible to find a 100%-made-in-USA steel kettle

I thought that with stainless steel, that wouldn't happen.

For this price, the kettle should be tri-ply (the "clad" in All-Clad, representing stainless steel sandwiching a layer of a aluminum) and USA made.

I bought this and was willing to pay the high price tag because it was both Stainless Steel and supposedly made in the USA.

We've continued to use it because it is stainless steel but are very disappointed the product didn't hold up to how it was presented for such an expensive item.
