Best Buy will not replace, only refund

Best Buy is sending a tech who they said would arrive this Saturday between 8 and noon

I bought it at Best Buy and am dreading going there to demand a replacement or some kind of reimbursement

Best Buy allowed me to simply exchange the busted tv for an in store model that was the same price

Still, at this price point, and notwithstanding the OS software, I think the Toshiba is a good buy.

So, I came to Amazon, submitted the return request and was able to return it to my local Best Buy who happily took it from me with my printed return label.

From the shipping materials, it is apparently surplus that Best Buy was selling through Amazon, I suspect to make way for a newer model, though I don't know this for a fact

Set up a return, and now I’m unable to request an exchange because it’s being sold by Best Buy

Since Geek Squad delivered it, I’m hoping they will bring a replacement and take this defective one awayUpdate: Amazon and Best Buy are both unable to exchange my defective TV

I purchased this tv and made the mistake of not installing it right away, once installed it broke, Amazon only gives a 30-day return policy, Best Buy couldn't help because I didn't by the Geek Squad package

This is a fantastic buy

But no have to return to Best Buy for refund from Best Buy

Overall, this was a great buy for $200.

I have never owned a Fire tv before and expected that a Toshiba, fulfilled by Best Buy would be a safe bet.

Best Buy says that because the item was purchased through Amazon, they can’t do anything

That is the THIRD time I've bought a bad electronic from Best Buy.

As soon as I googled the error message, I found multiple complaints with the same brand from Best Buy.

Next problem, you have now purchased a product from Best Buy but paid Amazon for it

They give you a Best Buy gift card and tell you that you have to dispose of the broken TV on your own and then buy a new one, even if it costs more

We ordered this TV for our living room and got it during the Prime Day 2020 deal for $300 from Best Buy

Don't expect Best Buy to get the product to you on time

Catch is it costs $70+ to get this model at Best Buy now (it’s a BB exclusive model), so I guess we’re hosed.
