    Amazing Spider-Man

    • The free roaming around N.Y.C is so much fun
    • I really enjoyed the story and voice acting but as other guys say, there's not a lot to do in the free roaming aspect
    • Fortunately, you can go to Peter's apartment while in free-roam, which serves as an in-game hub, and replay earlier missions if you're one of those gamers who simply must find every collectible in every mission
    • However, quite a few NYC landmarks are noticeably absent from the city unlike the previous free-roaming entries
    • Really fun cool and very awesome story line free roam is great too
    • Alot of stuff to do in the free roam world
    • I haven't played many missions yet, but I have played countless hours in free roam mode in Manhatten, and I have found close to 175 Collectible Comic Books
    • For starters its free roam unlike the previous 2 spiderman games
    • Well I got this game because I love the past Spiderman games being free roam and open world
    • There are even special collectibles to pick up in the game's main missions like magazines, audio logs, and tech pieces that provide Spidey with XP, although the special comic book pages you can find while free-roaming the city are way more fun to collect
    • The free roaming aspect of spiderman 3 and web of shadows was a little under-whelming
    • Honestly, if Beenox/Activision was advertising this along the veins of Shattered Dimensions, as a level based game that majorly took place indoors (or in enclosed spaces), I probably would give it 2.5 or 3-stars, but because it was advertised as a free-roaming, open world, random-encounter-laden game akin to Spider-Man 2 and Web of Shadows, I'm giving it one star
    • But when you're free roaming throughout the city, this game really shines and actually makes you feel like Spider-man
    • I was especially excited to hear that free-roaming around the city was back as it was missing from other recent Spidey titles
    • The different number of side missions was rather paltry compared to what I've seen in the earlier free-roaming Spidey games, but thankfully they're still enjoyable
    • the story is wonderful,,,,, free roam
    • The Free-roaming feature looked like as if I was in Spidey's world with purified realistic graphics
    • In comparison, the last free-roaming spider-man game was Web of Shadows (Treyarch) and the majority of my Spider to Spider comparison is to that
    • Good thing Beenox added the free-roam/open world compatability that was dearly missed in "Shattered Dimensions" and "Edge of Time" (with EOT being their shortest Spidey game)
    • Not sure if this is a pro or a con, but it's worth mentioning that these indoor areas cannot be revisited once the missions they're set in have been completed, at least not while in free-roam
    • Lets face it, when most of us heard that they were bringing back the free roam aspect of Spider-man 1 &
    • Even though all these things can be done while free-roaming the city, the main missions and some specialized side missions take place in more linear indoor areas, mainly secret facilities and sewers
    • The free roam area isn't as large as the previous games
    • They butchered the free roam mechanics of the open world playground, well what playground there is, they have miniaturized the city of New York
    • Spider-Man is not Batman and should have not been treated that wayRepetitive is an understatement (combat and gameplay)Short game -- little replayabilityShoddy PhysicsCamera's too tightI will give Beenox props for attempting a free roaming spider-man game when they haven't before (that effort has gone to Treyarch in the past) -- but what Beenox has delivered is very much not the free-roaming "open world" game that I was expecting
    • It's been a while since we got a Spider-Man game set in the free-roaming environment of New York City, but now we finally got another one that follows in the footsteps of the classic Spider-Man 2 while melding in some new elements which were obviously inspired by the critically acclaimed Batman games
    • The best things of all, are all the new Spidey suits you can play as in the game, the amazing free roam city and the combat
    • Good thing Beenox added the free-roam/open world compatability that was dearly missed in "Shattered Dimensions" and "Edge of Time" (with EOT being their shortest Spidey game)
    • Spider-Man suit even messes up as you take damage
