It will charge for awhile and then just stop charging until I mess with it again and it says it is charging again.

I had to purchase a new cord which claims to be fast charging, so when I got it today, plugged it in, the kindle says I'm connected to a low power charger and will charge slowly while not in use, and I'm losing battery life while using!!

It did prove to me that the cord I WAS using had worn out and was not allowing proper charging to occur.

I get a notice the kindle is on a slow charge
