The unfortunate thing is that the more popular smart plug become the more companies are selling them, each with their own proprietary app that only works with their products.

I love the product, the only thing that is annoying is that you have to rest it every time the power blinks off and on.

So the set up based on their instructions was very confusing, and many things they said didn't need to be done

These things are buggy as hell.

Although most things in the app aren’t as intuitive as I’d like anyway, so not a big surprise.

I love this whole thing I can get in bed get comfortable and have the lights turned off for me very convenient

Works great, only thing you can not use it on auto shut off.

I never got into the whole smart home thing, but when I saw Amazon was coming out with their own plug, I decided to try it out.

Would definitely be a 5 star product, but the Samsung-SmartThings Wifi Smart Plug does the same thing and it is about $7 cheaper for those that want a cheaper solution.

I got this smart plug not exactly knowing what it really was but what a wonderful thing to have.

It wasn't the most straightforward thing to do, but it appears to work

the bad thing is that it doesn't always work

I have 4 other smart plugs they worked in 10 seconds, I am a tech person and these definitely do not worth $20 each, they only good thing is that they support 12A, and off course they are way too bulky!

Cool thing is that you can name the device plugged in anything you want.

These things are so much better than the Wemo junk.

I am not about to try deleting and reinstalling my Alexa app, sitting on their costumer service line or all the other lengthy things suggested since most say it does not resolve the problem.

BUT.....If you have any other Smart things that aren't Amazon's...but works with Alexa....make sure to update those other Smart things

After spending a half hour trying to get the stupid thing to work, I finally gave up

The only annoying thing is the dimensions

The greatest thing is is that we placed where we can tell Alexa to turn on the light hooked into it & it will illuminate 3 rooms at the same time!

The PC app, of course, does not work for configuring these things.

I'm new to Alexa and the whole smart home thing, but this plug seems to be as easy as it gets

I'm slowly automating my house and this plug working with Alexa's automation features really simplifies things

It makes things so easy and convenient to just ask Alexa to turn the lamp on when my hands are full, when I'm all wrapped up in a warm blanket and don't want to get up to turn it on, etc

Only thing I don't like is I can't put it on my TV because my TV has a sleep mode

n’t see any advantages to this product over certain other manufacturers, at present.

n’t dump the plug in the trash

n’t want interference.

So, I guess these aren't as reliable as I though

Its also necessary to use your 2G network, as opposed to your 5G.
