Amazon Tap - Alexa-Enabled Portable Bluetooth Speaker

    • After the warranty expired the tap developed unbearable connection issues
    • Connection to WiFi - The Wi-Fi connection process is cumbersome, and is difficult to connect to a phone hotspot - especially if it's the phone you're using to set up the WiFi connection with the Alexa app
    • I didn't think it was too much to ask from a device that is promoted to doing just those things! The Tap, daily, loses connection to wifi, even when it sits next to the wireless router
    • I make no real demands on Tap; it is, and always has been stationary on its charger, with a strong wifi connection, but has managed to break anyway
    • It looses connection whether it's bluetooth or through internet
    • It constantly loses the connection and is offline when I try to access it.
    • It keeps loosing the connection
    • I went to read reviews today because my tap frequently loses connection with the Internet and just has a flashing light
    • But for no identifiable reason tap would lose its internet connection while in a stationary location..
    • Speaker good but loses connection
    • However, the hands free option won't stay hands free and it loses it connection to WIFI all the time.
    • As with most Amazon devices it works well, but the Tap frequently loses its' Internet connection.
    • This is why i always wait to write a review, i've had this product for less than a year and it simply stoped doing what it is supposed to do, cuts off bluetooth (or loses connection) with in 10' of device, never played stations on Pandora even though it was set up, and would not answer questions its supposed to have answers to, i would say it was just this product but the echo dot did it with in the year too.
    • KEEPS LOSING CONNECTION
    • Tap will lose connection from wifi, which I understand can happen.. but once it does it will never work properly from that connected device again
    • Tap will lose connection from wifi, which I understand can happen.. but once it does it will never work properly from that connected device again
    • only and now the Tap seems to have a consistent connection
    • Setup was initially complex but eventually could reconnect to wi-fi several times as if on a learning curve because tap lost its internet connection repeatedly.
    • It does have great range and volume, but definitely needs a better functioning connection, both the Wi-Fi connection and the Bluetooth experience the same.
    • n’t feel like cheap plastic that it would be great sound
    • This speaker does not sound as crisp as other B/T speakers that I have acquired --- It does, however, put out a most pleasant, warm sound --- especially when playing ethereal new age music, which is my favorite genre
    • n’t like.
    • n’t go wrong.
    • and I can say it is the most frustrating electronic I have ever owned
    • The music is distorted I regret i that i did not return the tap to upgrade to a better model.
    • Im torn about whether I love this or not, out of all the echo devices this one is my favorite (I actually hate the other two I own)
