Amazon Tap - Alexa-Enabled Portable Bluetooth Speaker

    • Like it a lot, however does not work with headphones which is big negative.
    • so Alexa does not work and all I am left with is a Bluetooth speaker that also cuts off from time to time
    • Currently does not support Multi-Room music.2
    • The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because it does not "hear" as well as the DOT does
    • For example, it ( mine responds to any name, even "stupid") does not recognize "Pete Fountain" and hence won't play his iconic sax music.
    • This device does not support messaging and does not support multi-room music that we've come to love from the other echo devices.
    • Without these things, the Tap is just a very good Bluetooth speaker (my partner bought it hoping for a more convenient "OK Google" which we use a lot on our phones -- but Amazon and Google are competitors so the Tap can't even handle this task very well). That being said, after setting up these peripherals, when Alexa does what you ask it's FANTASTIC.
    • Alexa works great on it, and best of all -- it is NOT recording everything we say every minute, like my mom's echo does for her
    • Tap also does not support multi room musicSkip this device and get an echo or dot.
    • Like it a lot, however does not work with headphones which is big negative.
    • This thing does not work consistently.
    • The Amazon Tap ODDLY does NOT support the Amazon Music Streaming Subscription service!!!
    • Does not, repeat, does not work with Amazon Buttons.
    • Does not, repeat, does not work with regular groupings with the rest of my echo devices.
    • What’s very disappointing is Amazon does not make Prime music available on all devices
    • It does get surprisingly loud though which leads me to my one true gripe and this would be attributable to the software I think
    • To repeat, does not support music groups with other Alexa devices..
    • Unfortunately it does not network with the other six Echos for multi room music
    • does not sound very good battery does not last, I like good quality
    • It does get surprisingly loud though which leads me to my one true gripe and this would be attributable to the software I think
    • Even then it does not support many of the smart features that the other echo products do
    • First, let me state that neither one is 100% perfect, because at times, Alexa has a hearing problem (confuses B, V, D for example or doesn't hear me at all)
